Reviews For Splinters

GHL has stepped to the plate and the first act was quite in Joy able. Wonderful to hear that all of you cerebrally elastic readers can adapt so readily to a 'whiplash' chapter like that! It was fun to write, but the editing took forever, trying to find the right balance between writing a roller coaster (good) and giving everyone motion sickness (umm, not so good). I took a moment to peek at your profile, and can thus add one comment. This story is a riddle, Even a bit of a 'Riddle' riddle. And, if I write it properly, the solution will be withheld to all but the most astute readers until near the end. Thank you for reading and reviewing! Overall, an excellent start; I look forward to the next chapter. Ah good! If you survived this first chapter without cursing or issuing veiled threats, it gets easier (mostly). Good thought -- I should include a contextual note to say that this story presumes canon up until Harry's first night at Grimmauld Place, early in OotP. Things stray rather quickly from that in terms if interpersonal details, but yes -- Sirius and Molly are not about to be quickly reconciled. Thank you very much for the reminder, and for offering your thoughts! Currently editing the next chapter, so I won't keep you too long. I actually took some time to do some research for this one to try to make it feel authentic. And yes, 'romance' -- the final frontier. I find it easy to write about being in love, but the mysterious process of 'getting there' remains a challenge... Thank you for joining me on this latest journey, Zorica! | |||||||
