I personally hate overly friendly Goblins, and the need to make HP be a millionaire. Not a deal breaker, just something that annoys me.

Love the letter to Remus though.

This is a far better chapter than the first. Even though much was routine, the dialogue was interesting and not at all like most of the 'goblin/Harry interactions' of other fics. Note that all my ratings are scaled low so 7 is good (though I wanted to give it 7.5 and can't.)

Promising start, I'm wondering whether this fic is also on AO3 or FF.net, where it can be then downloaded in EPUB format.

I love reading my fics in iBook.

Author's Response: Thank you Inquis: right now only here on SIYE, had figured to finish it before i exported but didn't know the other sites had greater options, will certainly give it some thought, thanks again

I forgot that I had started reading this story months ago. I remember now though, so I guess I will keep on reading. Your technical knowledge of the terminology used for sharp pointy objects is impressive.

Author's Response: Thanks RT3Z, glad you rediscovered my little tale and happy you like it, as for knowledge of sharp objects, I have read a few dry tellings of medieval knights that spent more words on weapons and armor then story, so being OCd I had to research

I'm a bit torn about Harry being so manipulative. Yes, he's rescuing Ginny from her horrible first year, but her first year really influenced her character and I think their shared torment at the hands of Voldemort is part of what drew them together. Without her experience with the diary, what will Ginny's personality be like? I think that is the part I struggle with in dealing with re-do stories. The person going back ends up being very duplicitous and manipulative. How do you befriend 11 and 12 year olds when you are mentally 20? I will be interested to see how you handle this issue.

Author's Response: Thanks for review and stars. With Ginny not being possessed and Harry not rescuing her things could well be different, could even be Harry is the one that pines away. And as much as it no doubt effected Ginny's character, I think possession would have more adverse effects than positive, may I use Linda Blair as an example. When you say Harry is 20, you make me think of the short story the instructor returned with the comment that they were not telepathic and I had failed to explain the premise sufficiently, I will reedit the first few chapters to see if I can reassert that my Harry character is still 12, he just watched a HP movie marathon

Loved Harry's letter to Remus.
His future memories seemed to have matured Harry just a bit. To have left the Dursley's and be staying at the Leaky Cauldren. Also, they way he spoke at Gringotts shows this.
Looking forward to the next chapter.

Author's Response: Thanks, and yes after watching himself for 8 years he probably has a big confidence boast

Author's Response: *boost*, Dag Gomn lesdyxia

Greatly enjoyed reading this chapter. I like the way that Harry is carefully planning how to get ready for the coming school year. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Author's Response: Thank you and for now he knows what he needs to do

This has all the qualities of being a really good story. Not sure if things are going to continue just as smoothly.

Author's Response: Thanks Dad, and if it goes to smoothly it would be boring, right

Funny letter!. Certainly, Remus will hurry to meet Harry and surely he will be very surprised. I'm curious to see how he takes this prank.
Does Harry permanently perform underage magic (levitating his trunks, opening the wall to Diagon Alley...) ? I do not complain, but it would be nice to know why it isn't detected by someone...
Although banking is a dry business, it was fun to read this chapter. Many thanks for sharing.

Author's Response: Thanks Gin, honestly I didn't consider opening the arch into the alley as active magic, and it was Tom that floated the trunk, you'll make me check that I didn't overwrite that bit and confuse the actions, you are right though about the wandless stuff at privet dr, I was going with minor wandless as registering as accidental
