With how well you did the summer, I'm interested to see what term will hold for Harry and Ginny. And after putting reading the sequel off for as long as I have, I'm glad it already had so many chapters.

As always, a rather clean story, with only the occasional confused words. But your brit-picker will have to step up their game, as there are still terms, phrases and americanised words in there.

Keep narrating,
Ranma-sensei

Author's Response: Thank you. I hope the rest lives up to your expectations. The Americanisms are intentional as Harry and Ginny begin to pick up the local slang.

Loved this chapter.
Glad Ginny can return to Harry (with a special surprise for him). The night away shouldn't hurt either of them as they have been together entirely for the three weeks prior.
Looking forward to the next chapter.

Author's Response: Glad you liked the chapter. Yeah, those two have practically been in each other's pockets for three weeks so some time apart was definitely warranted, despite what they might have thought. Hope you enjoy the next chapter just as much!

The fact that "poor" Dumbledore has been left out of the loop and is now experiencing some of his own medicine has always been one of my favorite scenes in this story. It actually made me smile to read of his frustration!

Molly and Arthur's time at the school seems to have done the two elder Weasleys a load of good towards helping them feel good about where they agreed their daughter can spend the upcoming school year. All of the teachers seem knowledgeable and it made me smile when Harry and Ginny were so enthusiastic about attending the classes they used to loath at Hogwarts. I think Molly and Arthur approved of them too.

The fact that Harry and Ginny received such praise for their flying and Quidditch prowess made me smile. Harry needs the positive reinforcement from his peers and while I think Ginny does too, I think it will have more of an impact on Harry in the long run.

While I was sad to see Ginny's mistake, I think a night apart is good for those two because it makes them appreciate the other so much more. I also think Ginny will learn something from her experience and apply it to future situations. Anyway, I'm glad she had the chance to have some one-on-one time with her mother.

All in all, well done.

Author's Response: Do you, like, hold back the feedback when you give me the chapters back? LOL. You always tell me what you liked and what you didn't and STILL manage to come up with something new once the chapter is posted. I greatly appreciate that. It makes me feel as if I've done it right, that my story is actually good. You'll never know how much that means to me.

Really great chapter! I love that they got to spend time with her parents. It was nice that they finally got to meet Miss Lena's husband. It was a good thin Arthur was there to point out it was Ginny's fault that she came back with them, otherwise she and her mum would have probably ended up in a huge fight. Arthur was really smart when getting Tonks to talk to the American Ministry Official. I also like that she made a treacle tart for Harry. At least it'll be a nice way to apologize for leaving him. Well that is if it wasn't ruined when she fell.

Author's Response: Arthur seems to me to be the most under-utilized/under appreciated character of the entire canon universe. I always thought he was much smarter than we ever really got to see, so that's how I tend to write him. I don't know why everyone seems to think Ginny left on purpose, it was a complete accident. Anyway, Ginny figured making Harry some of his favorite dessert would help cheer him up.

Well this chapter was certainly a roller coaster ride. Parents day was interesting and a very sensible sort of event that Hogwarts should have for parents as well. The sporting events went well, and Harry managed to make a favorable impression on the charms teacher. I am relieved that Ginny made it back safely to New Orleans and with a treacle tart for Harry. Did she bring the book with her or is it still at the Burrow? Looking forward to reading the next chapter. Albus is such a questionable character in this story that it is hard to say what he will do and how he could manipulate a situation in an effort to control the future.

Author's Response: Thank you. Glad you liked the chapter. Yeah, I really like the idea of a Parents' Day. It's too bad Hogwarts doesn't do more to make the parents of Muggle-borns feel more involved. The book is still at the Burrow, hidden under pillow. In her excitement to see Sirius and anxiety to get back, she forgot it. Albus IS questionable in this story, yes, as that's how I see him in canon. Will he find out where they are? Eventually. That's all I can say on that.
