I'm really enjoying the pace of this story. I'd worried about what would happen once they were separated, but he's so obviously in her thoughts. Its very touching. I hate the Carrows, but I think you've done an excellent job showing how school might have been. I believe they would've questioned Ginny at first, but my gut tells me Harry's ruse worked for the most part.
I loved the scene where all the Gryffindor girls supported Ginny's lie. I like to see women sticking together rather than always being portrayed as catty. Good on you!

I like the structure of the "new" DA. The kids have a good idea to help each other in small groups in lots of different places with just a few discussion meetings where everyone assembles. Cuts down on the suspicious-looking flock of students meeting in one place all the time. Keeping a low profile is probably the best policy for now.
By the time I finished reading the section showing Ginny's Muggle Studies class, I wanted to strangle Alecto Carrow even more than I did at the end of the last chapter. She's prejudice personified and you certainly know how to write her so that she seems natural, something I struggle with when writing characters like her and her brother.
I wonder how long it's going to take Ginny, Neville and Luna to plan and execute their ill-fated sojourn into Snape's office to get the sword for Harry... You've given your readers lots to think about. Well done.

This is that "jumping forward" like you said? :D
When I read that meeting in the GF CMN RM, I recalled that room from the HP movies - so small. I always laugh when I see it. That movie room is for 10 people, more of them couldn't fit there. So I had to laugh when I imagined that almost 3 whole houses should fit there. But the original common room from the books is much larger, of course.
I am curious how will Neville become the leader of the students. Ginny wants it would be him but it was her who was the leader at the meeting. At least I had this impression.
I have, hovewer, one objection - there are not enough Ginny's thoughts of Harry for mine taste :) Will be there some of them?

Haha, yes, it's a lot bigger than the movies, although it's not three houses in there - just a few interested students from Ravenclaw and Gryffindor.
Neville will have to find his own strength to become the man we saw in DH, which will take time.
I have to be careful about Ginny's thoughts about Harry; there's a risk she could become too mopey and depressed which would be out of character for her. So although there will be more (it is still a HarryxGinny fic), I have to balance it with strength.
