Well written chapter. The battle was so horrible. Losing so many loved ones so quickly. You really captured the fear and the desperation of this part of the story.

Bloody hell, that's a tough chapter, but incredibly well written and totally realistic
For me, it was George's line of - "‘No one in the family, I hope?’ She shook her head, and he gave her a bracing smile. ‘Well then, just don’t tell me,’ he said. ‘My spirits are quite high at the moment.’ - that really got to me

Yipes! Thanks for the tissue warning! Of all the deaths, I think Fred was the hardest for me simply because of George. I really appreciate getting to see the parts we didn't read in canon, and there has been absolutely nothing unbelievable about any of it. You're doing a wonderful job.

You weren't kidding about the tears! Terrific chapter but sad to read! You did a great job of driving home the terror and tragedy of the battle! The losses and the grief are indeed very heavy! Always wondered if Moldyshorts really didn't want to spill pure blood then why he didn't order his forces not to kill or least not use the killing curse?! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Your battle scenes are action-packed, truly horrific, vividly realistic and incredibly sad. Poor Ginny. Her guilt over Colin is palpable, but the most heart wrenching is her scene with George when she has to tell him about Fred. Well done.

Oh man! I fought I wouldn´t but I had to cry hard. I am not sure I have ever seen these moments wriiten in such emotional way. I don´t think so. Therefore I love it.
