Love this chapter. The scene between Harry and Ginny was very well written and completely believable. Hormones among young lovers should be out of control at least occasionally. Molly was great and I do rather hope they are respectful enough to wait until they are back at Hogwarts to go much farther. Looking forward to reading your next chapter.

I really like seeing Harry's training. It seems that Dumbledore is actually teaching him something useful. McGonagall is great, nice that Harry agrees. The protections around the Horcrux make sense, glad Harry could see through it.

Oh yes, the hormones. But why the two of them shouldn't experience what, according to the Kinsey report 25% of 15-year-old and 50% of 16-year-old already had experienced. OK, Kinsey doesn't specify how large the proportion of witches and wizards was in the survey, lol. Fortunately, the limitation 'not under my roof' still leaves the orchard as an option.
I hope that the theory of color is not a prerequisite for the understanding of Harry's capabilities ;-)
Harry's occasional psycho battles with Dumbledore are intriguing. I wonder if the two of them get along until the end.
Author's Response: The orchard? Bugger, I thought I was being subtle with that one. Actually, I think that witches and wizards are more promiscuous than average teenagers. At least, that's the impression I get from reading Fan Fiction...

Author's Response: When you started talking about your boyfriend's lack of self control I nearly wrote back saying that was too much information. I then thought about it some more, and realised it wasn't nearly enough information. Details! I want lots of sordid, dirty details!!!

Another great chapter.
Dumbledore most likely knew the power of sacrifice and that was exactly happened after Harry turned himself in. From that point on, all his friends were protected from lasting effects against Voldemort's spells. That was why his silencing spell didn't work, that was why Neville shook off his body bind curse so easily, and that was why he failed to kill or disable anyone in the final confrontation.
Dumbledore also correctly guessed that Voldemort's use of Harry's blood in his resurrection would kill the horcrux in Harry and activate the power of sacrifice, while keeping Harry alive at same time.
So in summary, Dumbledore's plan was convoluted, threw lots of his followers under the bus, but worked out well in the end. I think that was the primary reason Harry forgave Dumbledore and named his son 'Albus'.
Author's Response: I've always maintained the major turning point of the whole Harry Potter series happens towards the end of GoF when Harry is explaining what happened in the graveyard and Dumbledore learns that Voldemort took Harry's blood. The books to me are as much about Dumbledore obtaining redemption as they are about Harry. That's my theory, anyway.

I have to give Harry a lot of credit here. He definitely has a lot of self control. I remember how I was at 16 (I know he is still 15 but close enough) and quite frankly if my girlfriend would have told me what Ginny told him then I definitely would have gone all the way. So, major kudos to him. Anyway, Ginny's behavior does not surprise me at all. She always had a major thing for Harry whether it is simple list or some other forces at work here.
This is starting to suspiciously look like some form of bond is being formed here. At this point it is simply conjecture. Can I just say that Hermione and Ron were really annoying in this chapter? Maybe it's because if it were me I would have cursed them for interrupting. It's like, holy hell, just get over your stupid angst. Maybe it's just me but I have always been very straightforward. If I liked a girl then I never let the fear of rejection stop me. I have been rejected before but I have also been successful so naturally for me Ron just annoys me.
Now on to the Ravenclaw diadem. Naturally the horcrux would have no idea about who Lily Potter is so the obvious conclusion is that it can sense their fears. Everything the horcrux said are simply things Harry has feared whether he knows it or not. I have the same fears. You can even go back and read my previous reviews. I highly doubt the old man will just simply accept what he has been told. I don't trust him. I really dont.
Honestly, Brennus there is something that I found disappointing. That is the rating. I know in FF. Net you have this story as a T rating. Why?!? One of the reasons I love your stories is that there is no filter with you. You really go at it with your stories. I just hope it's the same here. This is fanfiction so be as real as you can. Whether it is sex or straight up murder and gore then I love the reality of it. Just my opinion. Thank you, Brennus. This is great work.

Oops! I have it as a T rating on FF.net simply because I forgot to change it. Actually, I did the same thing here, too. Maybe I have a subconscious desire to lure innocent youngsters into my story and corrupt them.
No, there won't be any form of bond in this story, although I have used similar ideas previously. Let's just say that Harry and Ginny will have some interesting shared experiences which will prove to be vital later.

Hmmm, Harry and Ginny's relationship is progressing nicely. Will Ginny see her 15th birthday as a virgin? Somehow I don't think so.
Too bad we didn't learn much about Ron and Hermione's relationship.
It's scary how you always manage to sow some doubt about Dumbledore's motivation and intentions.
