Note before starting the chapter. 1 GBP (Sterling) ranged beteween 1.65 USD to 1.69 USD in July 1997. So, if as you say, 2 million lira = $1,000 it would equal about 1,675 GB pounds sterling!

I was a bit surprised that the otherwise so cool-headed Ginny has panicked so quickly. However, I'm not going to complain, because it caused Harry's to call the two of them a team.
