Another fine chapter!

Our side discussions about humour now seem to be a bit more contextual, since your story obviously uses the device as well. The wacky/fun image in an earlier chapter of Harry coming around as Ron and Hermione are carrying him and arguing at the same time was a fine start, but something about the way you treated the dialogue in Malfoy Manor suggests to me that some villainous incompetence may emerge at some point?

And no, don't answer that, or any of my idle speculations. I shall endeavour to find out.

Author's Response: And I shall endeavor to deliver the answer ... all in good time! Thanks, as always, for your thoughtful input!

Lovely chapter! I really enjoyed the conversation between Harry and Arthur. They have known and respected one another for a long time, and this open and honest conversation reflects not only their current bond, but also the bond they will soon share. Lucius is an evil, horrible human being. I sincerely hope that Draco and Narcissa are strong enough to thwart whatever he is planning. Glad to see Harry and Ginny are enjoying one another!

Author's Response: Thank you so much!,,

New chapter every day? Great! I don´t even manage to read the new chapter before the next one is released :D I am glad it´s finished story.
I hope Lucius will get what he deserves. May I ask how different this version of your story will be compared to the previous version?
Paragraphs are sometimes strange but it doesn´t affect the quality of the story.

Author's Response: I am befuddled about the strange characters and the boll iced up paragraph. My input appears fine, so it's something to do with my incompetence!

Author's Response: Bollxed up paragraph ... Not boil iced!!! And I will be hard pressed to get a chapter up every day, but I will try to keep it quick!

What a lovely chapter - just one strange paragraph that seemed to be missing a line or two in the middle of Harry and Arthur's conversation. I loved the sweet, happy feeling of the Harry, Ginny and Arthur interaction ( Arthur is exactly how I imagine him) offset nicely by the spice of the forgotten charm and nasty Lucius Malfoy.

Author's Response: Thanks! I appreciate your kind review and I will try to figure out the mystery of the butchered paragraph. It is whole and unadulterated I n my Word documen, which I copied and inserted in the designated box. Perhaps the fact that I refer to it as the "designated box" rather than knowing its proper title explains the problem!

I really liked the scene with Arthur in the shed.
I'm just wondering if Harry will ever understand that Voldemort would also have existed and killed people if there were no Harry Potter and no prophecy, or as Arthur put it in words, Voldemort was the cause of all our problems, not you!

I loved the way Harry describes Ginny, I've always preferred to see her as an equal to him, to one who teaches him social understanding. Although the two of them are really in a hurry to get each other from the market, and don't think that it is the wrong thing to do. A lot of our friends married early, and are still happy together. I'm quite curious what the Sensory Charm will show in a couple of days.

Ah yes, Draco. I don't think that he'll ever change his view of the world. However, the coward he is, he'll certainly keep a low profile to both, the new wizarding world and his father, simply to stay out of trouble. He's a typical opportunist.

Many thanks for another wonderful chapter!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! As for one of your observations, I agree! I was married when I had just turned 23 and my wonderful wife was still 22 aa fairly young by Muggle standards. Forty years later, I would gladly make the same decision. Of course, things are not "perfect" but they never are. Nevertheless, when things are right, they are right. Is it being smart ... Or just lucky? I don't know, but I will certainly take it!

Oh, good! New material that's not a rehashing of what we know of Harry's history and now furthers the action of the story. If there ever was a slimball to be had, your Lucius Malfoy takes the cake! His desire to continue on as if the war had not happened, to try to maintain his superiority over Muggle-borns and half-bloods, as well as threaten his son and heir with disownment just makes my skin crawl. I think Draco has a better measure of which way the wind will be blowing in the current political situation better than his father does. It's going to be interesting to see how Lucius reacts to whatever the Wizengamot throws his way in future chapters, but first, I'm looking forward to Draco gate-crashing Fred's funeral. I won't be surprised if he returns home to daddy covered in bat wings!

The talk between Arthur and Harry was sweet. For a first-ever father/son chat, I think Harry weathered it well. He stood his ground, stated his case and discovered that being hauled out to Arthur's shed didn't automatically mean rejection. It seems that Arthur's hugs are just as warm and welcoming as his wife's.

Finally, I thought it funny and quite telling that Bill would have nothing to do with trying to open Ron's door. I'd find it quite funny if Hermione couldn't open Ginny's door in order to switch places with Harry early in the morning!

All in all, well done.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I really appreciate your thoughtful reviews and your honesty! I have a serious case of writer's block in my efforts to review and improve upon a novel for which I have completed an unsatisfactory first draft. I decided to pick up characters I love as a break and a chance to both shake off the spider webs AND to improve my writing skills. Your open and honest reviews are very helpful in that regard!
