I loved this reverse style, every new step with new surprise and some explanation. Quite touching piece in the end. Very nice story!

Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad it worked as I'd intended!

So obviously you were missed!

Interesting writing experiment; as a technique it has some precedent both in literature and in real world dynamics. I can imagine myself, for example, as a wedding guest (perhaps a Delacouer relative) who doesn't know bride or groom well seeing the odd drama unfold and then, as the afternoon slips to evening and beyond, gradually learning the backstory from the many Firewhiskey-loosened tongues...

Anyway, just like Girl on the Bench, you laid down many clues, yet I somehow still managed to be delighted, in the end, to have missed them all and wound up very surprised.

Author's Response: I'm always very happy to hear that my literary experiments worked well--I thought a lot about how to make this fresh and new, and not just a predictable rehash--I'm glad you enjoyed it!

At first something unfamiliar, but after the second 'earlier' it was just awesome.
Great story! Thank you.

Author's Response: I hoped it wouldn't be too strange for too long, Thanks!

I loved this story for the way you kept me guessing all the way through, and for the surprise of Ginny's house.

Author's Response: I'm glad I was able to make things a surprise for you!

The reverse telling made it almost more exciting than the "usual" narrative.
Each step back revealed another little surprise, nice surprises in fact, like I never before had a Harry-Puff. It was a nice distraction to mention the meeting at Mrs Figgs early. In this way that day was out of my eyes as their wedding day.

This tale is a wonderful little gem. Thanks for sharing.

Author's Response: Thanks! After I wrote it I had the idea of telling it in reverse like that, and I think it worked much better. -duke
