I am sorry not to have left a review after each and every chapter of this lovely story! You are doing such an interesting job of linking Bloodstone, Strangers at Drakeshaugh, and this story together! Great job!
Author's Response: Thanks. You don't need to read Bloodstone to understand this story, it simply gives you a slight advantage in guessing part of the plot. There will, I hope, be another story set between Strangers and James. -N-

Cliff hanger dream! Were the children really attacked so long ago? It seems as though Annie was under Crucio as a child. The possible horrors of her past are becoming more of a concern with every chapter. I am eager to learn more about what happened in the past, and to see how Annie responds to the truth which must eventually be known to her. I really like your James!

Oh, this chapter is so uplifting. It is wonderful the way you describe Annie's elation . The conversations among friends are brilliant too. And I wonder why her foot was healed so fast. James was sneaky doing magic? Or perhaps her amulet did the trick. The dream is intriguing. It seems like she was cursed (and obliviated afterwards).
