Very interesting hints about the strength of the bond. I admit much curiosity about the 'nature' of the bond and the reason it exists (and is so strong). All fine motivation to read on!
Your Charlie characterization continues to be one of the boldest and most intriguing aspects of this story. Once again, I find reasons to be curious in looking ahead to the pseudocanonical events to take place in the future. I rather suspect he will have a role more complex in your telling than, say, knocking down walls in anger.

As one of the known 'good guys' who was barely utilized by JKR, I have felt free in his characterization. Your descriptions of bold and complex are apt, though he may well be involved in knocking down walls as well ;) Thank you for your review!

I just caught up with the story again and I really enjoyed it. I couldn't help but notice that the girls have developed from wallflowers to young women.
I'm curious where you want to take the story. I doubt that Harry, as in the books, will defeat Voldemort almost unnoticed by the others. I rather suspect that Anna will be the key to his defeat, the nail in his coffin. To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a second prophecy. I guess I will just have to wait and see.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! The girls have indeed reached an age and experience level that has changed them. Without giving too much away, I will respond to your other comments by reassuring you that the only prophecy in this story is the one we all know ;)

After living most of the time almost like a wallflower, Ginny nicely flourishes since she's together with Harry. I really like it. I was a wee bit surprised, however, that Luna didn't ask for permission to watch and investigate certain intimate activities next time, to publish the results in the Quibbler, preferable with photographs of the involved persons, lol.
The bond between Anna and Charlie is obviously getting stronger, and will certainly be getting even stronger after Anna spent her first night in Charlie's quarters. I'm quite certain that this was exactly Dumbledores intention when he suspended curfew for Anna. It's impressive how Dumbledore rules the lives of others. Somehow, I can't shake the feeling that Dumbledore knows about Anna's origin. I wonder if his plans involve that the bonded couple, Anna and Charlie, will defeat Voldemort in the end after Harry has gone along with his Horcrux. I guess at some point in one of the later chapters, we'll know how much nonsense I just wrote ...
Although you're doing a great job mentioning some things only casually, I'm pretty sure that I've learned a lot in this chapter, even if part of it is probably wrong.
Author's Response: Thank you very much! Oh, my goodness, your comment about Luna asking to watch was perfect! I can easily imagine her thinking that would be a logical learning experience ;) The relationship between Charlie and Anna will be strengthening quickly for many reasons (including the obvious of course!). As for Dumbledore's thoughts, more very soon I promise! You're absolutely correct that I've been trying to casually mention future events occasionally, because as a reader I enjoy attempting to guess what will happen next :)

You made my Sunday night with this new chapter! Isn't Ginny the little sneak listening to the guys with extendable ears?! Ernie was a very gallant loser but that character has always struck me as being a bit stuck up! Got to love Luna and her unique quirkiness, but she sure tells it like it is! Glad Anna gave Charlie a pass on his "accidental" meeting with Dorko! Especially since he managed to be a gentleman in the face of such beautiful temptation! Charlie and Anna are definitely a hot couple! Can't help but wonder how long he had to swim in that cold lake?! Nice job of bringing the horcruxes into the mix! Can't wait for the next one and Happy 2018! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
Author's Response: Thank you very much! Somehow Ginny always struck me as being rather sneaky. I can imagine her getting bored quickly with wedding planning and eagerly seeking any diversion. I enjoyed writing Luna! Her lack of a filter can be quite amusing since she is also genuinely kind. Very glad you liked the scene between Anna and Charlie! I rewrote it a few times trying to get the interaction just right :)

Marvellous chapter, really enjoyed it. It was nice to see an insight into what Charlie and Anna's relationship is like. Even though my situation was slightly different to Anna's I completely understand how bad memories can arise in certain situations of lines of thoughts, and how damn awkward it can be.
Interesting development about their bond though. Looking forward to next week already :)
