OH WOW! I loved that bit..hahahaha. sort of like telling all those ff writers who incorporate a ron who's always upset about the whole situation that they're way off the mark. I love it!!!
Author's Response: LOL! Yeah, I think Ron will be very supportive of a H/G romance. I think he made his feelings quite clear on the train ride home in OotP. Besides, I love Ron and hate to see him always painted as a bad guy. I just don't think that's how JKR intended him.

Author's Response: Elizabeth! So nice to see you back!! I'm glad to hear you're enjoying what you've missed. Sorry about the soup, LOL! I think Bart had a similar problem, that cracks me up! I'm not a Cho fan either. I think, if I had to pick, I'd say Ro's Patronus would be a Red Fox, he's cunning and clever. If it didn't have to be an animal, I'd pick a Chess piece, maybe the Knight like in Book 1.

I have always thought that Harry could do legimency (sp?) because of that scene from OWLs and from seeing Snapes memories while Snape was trying to get in his head. I think its really going to happen!! OMG that scene with Cho and Ginny fighting was classic! I love it I love it I love it!!

I noticed the possible Legilimancy thing in OoP - I think it's cool that you're expanding on it. I thought the H/G interaction was over-the-top fluffy. I liked Ginny putting down Cho, but I thought it seemed out of character (for both Harry and Ginny) to kiss like that in public, especially since they'd just had their first one. I loved that Ron was happy for them, though - I think that's indicated in canon. Keep going!

Author's Response: Well, I think it was something Harry never would have done on his own, but I do think it was how Ginny would respond. Sorry about the fluff, but expect more to come! You know I like h/g fluff Cindale!

Great chapter. Eek! The Dementors certainly got a lot of people in Hogsmeade :(. I especially loved the Cho/Ginny scene at the end. Cho was very in-character, expecting that she could just make Harry do whatever she wanted and then showing her real face when Ginny took him back. Hermione's advice seemed very hypocritical especially as it was her who told Harry and Ron the year before that Ginny didn't fancy him, but very in-character as well. Nice foreshadowing at the end but how does Voldemort know about Ginny? Could it be that you are also planning to introduce the diary into this somewhere? Great analysis of the OoTP scene with Parvarti. Now that I think about it, you are probably right.

wonderful chapter. very entertaining. i like catty cho (as you portray her) even though she is a... anyway, ginny put her in her place right proper (yea!). ron's reaction was fun because most people have him get pissed off (which i enjoy), but it was really funny how he was bewildered about people expecting his reaction. and my favorite hermione moment: blind leading the blind :)
Author's Response: Thanks! Ron expressed my own opinion here as I get really annoyed with how Ron is usually portrayed. I think when it happens in canon, Ron will be thier biggest supporter.

You and Swishandflick write the most believable Harry & Ginny scenes and I love the way how both of you keep the reader reading for a while before Harry and Ginny finally admit their love for each other. I'm especially fond of the "Ginny comforting Harry" scenes in Power of Emotion and Silent Siege; it's an idea I rather fancy, it's closer to what I think Rowling would write, and it's defiitely better than all the "I look you in the eye, we touch, and we fall in love" rubbish out there. I vehemently disapprove of my own classmates dating in high school but Harry and Ginny have gone through so much hardship that I think they deserve their mutual love. I'm also elated that Dumbledore's response to Harry's legilimency skill was positive and not a lecture on how to prevent oneself from using legilimency to cheat on exams.
