I figured I'd review I haven't reviewed since chapter one and I know authors like to know they haven't lost any readers. I think I started reading this yesterday, but anyway good story, I'm still reading and I'm still interested. I saw once of ur responses to a review in the last chapter I think...and I'm glad you're keeping Gin and Harry's snogging innocent for the most part. I always hate to see fan fics where they move so fast and end up sleeping with each other within days of them dating. I'm 16 and I think you should wait till you are older as it is (not for religious reason, just moral reasons i guess) and seeing as the wizard community is so much more old fashioned...woah..I totally lost my train of thought...Guess I shouldn't try to review at 1:45 in the morning...

Your writing style is maturing deeply. This chapter proved true to the title of your fic in portraying the very complex emotions of the central characters very richly, especially Harry, but it was also nice to hear from Hermione, too; we haven't had too much of her perspective in this fic so far. I very much like the conversation between Hermione and Harry about heroism and her own self-acknowledged reluctance about wanting to find out what the prophecy in the Department of Mysteries had been. You've developed the relationship between Harry and Remus very well also, not succumbing to the temptation of having Remus instantly fall into the role of a Sirius-substitute as many fanfic writers do and acknowledging the difficult issues Remus must cope with falling Sirius' death. I look forward to getting to the next chapters soon!

Author's Response: Thanks S&F! No, I don't think Remus or anyone will ever take Sirius' place in Harry's heart. I'm really glad you liked this chapter. Of all of them, I think this one is my personal favorite.

WOW that was just.....wow!! It was soooo emotional. I was soo scared for Moony (and still am). It was soo sad how Harry thought it was better to just expect the worst so he wouldnt get his hopes up :( I was glad that Hemione got to finally understand Harry and how he blames himself, because its really hard to understand unless you have lived it. OMG the poor Weasleys!! The burrow is gone... and not only that EVERYTHING THEY OWN how are they going to pay for all that..... maybe they can restore everything?? Im sure Dumbly knows a spell or two to fix things up? And the clock....... I almost cried there. I also like how he went into shock. A lot of writers will say he burst into tears or was screaming and yelling but truth betold when something like that happens you usually go into shock. Its hard to explain to people...my dad died when i was 8 and I didnt cry for atleast 3 months and then I bawled my eyes out. No one I know that has had something like that happen and they dont understand why I didnt just start crying, and they say they wouldnt be able to handle it the would scream and cry. But its really not like that your too...shocked. Im glad you put that reality in the story good job! Your ending of the chapie was soooooo touching!! Harry really feels really strongly about Ginny it was soo romatic. Update soon!

Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I liked Harry in shock myself, I mean how could he not be and I hadn't seen it done before so... The Weasleys will be okay. They are staying at Grimmauld Place anyway, and remember, Harry gave them a significant portion of Sirius's estate.

Amazing! You are one of the best writers on the entire website. I'm almost in tears. I like the whole thing with Hermione's parents. I noticed during the books that shes seeming to grow farther and farther away from her parents, and I was waiting for someone to make a reference to it. I've also noticed, that in fanfiction, people tend to make Hermione and Harry grow farther apart. That's sad, too! But anyways, I love this story. I've reviewed before, but never in my user name... good story, though... really good! Wow, this is a long review!

Aw! Well, first of all I am glad Remus is all right for now. That's good. He's Harry's last link to the Marauders. And Hermione's guilt was so like Harry's--not unfounded but misplaced. H/G........aw! I like how Ginny is Harry's ray of hope. She has always been the bright spot in his life. But let Remus live. Please? Oh, and the Tonks/Malfoy mention--nice way of reminding us they are related.

Author's Response: Thanks, yes Tonks and Malfoy are cousins. I like to think of Ginny as Harry's rock too, he so needs that. Yes, I tried to make Hermione seeing things almost from Harry's POV. Hermione loves him, but sometimes I think she just "get" him.
