Being in med school, and seeing the results of a drunken ANYTHING, I guess you could syay that fic or not, I'm not too amused. In the states they have MADD (I suppose that wouldn't work on a broom).
An Aisde, leading nowhere: You mentioned Hedwig...and the very first story I ever read, and still go back to on occasion, even though it has been renamed, is a very short one shot called Little Wizard Chick. It was named Hedwig's Wizard Chick when I first read it. If anyone loves the bond between Harry and Hedwig, you should read it. It's posted in fanfic.net. I guarantee you a lump in your throat.

About your disclaimer: You say that you're just playing with Jk's character's, when really your playing with her characters AND her previous plots, stories ect. So you should say that you are playing with her characters and previous ideas. If you weren't using her ideas from her other stories you wouldn't be able tomention some of the things they did. Sorry, I sound like a prat, but hey, I just thought i'd mention it. other than that, Power of Emotion and Curse of the Damned are brilliant! keep writting, you're great at it. You write sorta like JK which is a huge compliment! Don't stop writting, I can't wait to read another of your fanfics, which means there better be another! Smiles :) :)

I like the beach idea....I'm sure Harry never had a proper vacation in his life anyway. He's well deserving! ^^ I liked the bit about Sirius having stayed there as well, a nice thought!

I know how evryone says they love drunk harry. But knowone loves him more than me!!!!!! i have a felling that harry is going to say something that the brothers wont exatly approve of:) [guess i should a give a pat on the back to myself] and after you answered someones review i am sure it will be quite fun to read harry say '' hey ginny lets go snog right now cause you look really hot.'' ha ha ha ha but anyways.. i love the rest of the chapters and how harry gets to enjoy the place sirius did . i always loved sirius. hopefully by the end of there vacation he will have learned how to swim and drive that speed boat. defentily agree that harry needed this and to get away from it all. as one person pointed out im looking froward to the training but i also want to see some midnight beach strools. your right nothing like the beach fro romance eh?
so i want you to know that i appreciate your chapters and that i ooked forward to reading the rest and defenitly next weeks one. that one proves to be hilarious. glad hedwig is all right and i love the male thoughts as well as teasing.

Yay, they've got a break for at least two chapters...
Anyway, I love the character of Aberforth... sort of like a Dumbledore who isn't the Headmaster of a school. I liked how they all were carefree for a bit, and how Ron was berating Hermione for coming out in a bathing suit.
Fred and George were great, too. And I wonder how they're all going to teach Harry to swim...

Great job Melinda, Oh boy even when Harry is on vacation he has a near death experience. I sure hope by the end of the vacation Harry will learn how to swim, but I'm sure that training will have to come first. LOL at Harry not knowing the Sun Screen Charm. It is good for the Weasley brothers to tease Harry. Harry has his typical male moments that I love. Can't wait to see how Harry celebrates his big 17th birthday, and I cannot wait to see the Hogwarts letters.
