Reviewer: ginnyweasley777 Signed Date: 2009.08.13 - 11:52AM Title: Riddle...Tom Riddle ha ha, I was right about Percy - funny part with him Reviewer: CodeRomance Signed Date: 2007.06.22 - 03:49PM Title: Riddle...Tom Riddle Riddle...Tom, Riddle that sounds really funny like Bond...James Bond! really good chapter and Smith needs to shut up! and i hope that dumbledore will be ok...it would really suck if he just died of some illness or old age...i mean he's supposed to be the greatest wizard of all times...besides harry of course! Reviewer: txreina Signed Date: 2006.03.15 - 12:59PM Title: Riddle...Tom Riddle Harry is my HERO. The way he stood up to Dumbledore and said flat out he was have nothing to do with Snape bravo. Harry is my HERO. Oh and the way he handled Percy. I'm making a sigh that say HARRY IS MY HERO. Reviewer: Jules Anonymous Date: 2005.06.28 - 08:49AM Title: Riddle...Tom Riddle I'm in agreement with you. I believe that would make for an interesting twist in Harry's peril with Dumbledore not being there to protect him when the chips are down. It'll make Harry progress and develop his skills even more. And let's face it, Dumbledore is ancient! Wise, but older than dirt. Good chapter, btw. I like how the Voldemort bit... Reviewer: buckbeakbabie Anonymous Date: 2005.03.16 - 05:59AM Title: Riddle...Tom Riddle Loved the last two chapters, particularily the bit with the blanket.
It sucks to be in the middle of a breakup. Poor Harry.
And I do think DD needs to die before Harry faces Voldy for the last time. He needs to defeat him y himself. Unfortunatly, I think for this to happen, DD needs to die. Reviewer: destin4fl Anonymous Date: 2005.03.14 - 07:26PM Title: Riddle...Tom Riddle excellent as always! Reviewer: Ginny_Potter_89 Anonymous Date: 2005.03.13 - 03:26PM Title: Riddle...Tom Riddle Man, I had a lotta catching up to do! But awesome chapters, nonetheless. I really liked Defense Against the Dark Arts for this:
"No. I’m certain the meddling bloke will join us at your next lesson. Go find your lady friend and have a snog," Abe said with a grin.
That was so funny, because I imagined my own brother pulling a face and reaction much like Ron's. *hahaha* I love my brother. . .
And as for the last chapter, I nearly cried when Harry got all that stuff. His baby blanket, and that "award" for Sirius. Oh my goodness. I thought he was gonna lose it again, like in Power of Emotion. But once again, Ginny to the rescue! I'm very interested in those letters, will you be writing more about them?
And with the Ron and Hermione situation, well . . . I personally think their both being stupidly stubborn. But I wanna see how you work things out, and I have faith in you Melindaleo.
Can't wait for the next chapter! Reviewer: cmh Anonymous Date: 2005.03.12 - 08:57PM Title: Riddle...Tom Riddle Well, that was good. Harry is showing a lot of maturity in his dealings with the adults. He was totally within his rights on the entire issue with Snape. And, he won. He isn't the only one showing signs of maturity, Ginny is gaining a lot of empathy for Harry. You really write them well.
Of course, the rest of the chapter was equally well done; friends caught between arguing friends, classes, trying to get some time together to kiss your girl (or boy), etc. Also, having Percy as the ministry representative works well. If you chose, this can lead to a reconciliation with the rest of the family by the end of the school year.
You really write teenagers well.
As always, I appreciate your sharing your wonderful story with the world.
Has Ginny chewed up any shoes or books yet?
I hope Dumbledore isn't the one to die in book six, but I don't particularly want any of the main characters to die before the final confrontation. I think any deaths will be adults.
cmh Reviewer: Shannon Anonymous Date: 2005.03.12 - 11:39AM Title: Riddle...Tom Riddle I was on vacation, so this is two reviews in one. I really feel for Harry and Ginny dealing with the Ron/Hermione break-up. I've been there, and it's no fun.
Harry's empathizing with Ron and Hermione's (and Molly's and Ginny's...) feelings very well. I'm not sure if this is intentional on your part or not, but it would be nice if he could realize that he is not rubbish with feelings after all (even though he thinks he is). Girls, yes, but not feelings in general!
I am surprised that Abe is still teaching Harry. You haven't talked much about what his qualifications are for this very important job. Just because he's Dumbledore's brother doesn't automatically make him brilliant, does it? I'm just a little curious. You laid out Jonathan's qualifications much better. That being said, I would like to wholeheartedly jump on the 'demented Willie Nelson' bandwagon! Being a Texan, I love Willy! So, is tax trouble going to be the reason that Abe doesn't live in England? The bit with Percy was really funny. I don't think you let Harry kick his butt hard enough. I would have liked to have seen him unconscious at the end of the session! The "Who names this stuff, anyway?" comment was great, too!
I also really liked the scene with Madam Pomfrey! It's nice that Harry can joke about these things. Was Harry's "Not this year!" comment a bit of foreshadowing? Please say it was!! Pleeease! I really hate to see him beaten up!
The DA meeting was just great. It's about time Harry taught them to say his name. It made me realize just how much Harry knows that most people don't. We just take for granted that Voldemort was Tom Riddle, forgetting that most people don't know that. Reviewer: Amanda Anonymous Date: 2005.03.12 - 09:13AM Title: Riddle...Tom Riddle I definitely think Dumbledore is the next to go...
Great story...I always look forward to every chapter. Reviewer: Dianne Signed Date: 2005.03.12 - 01:58AM Title: Riddle...Tom Riddle HI!! I think I'm different in what I look forward to in your stories. I really liked the scene where Harry goes to the hospital wing and pops his head in to say hi, only to find that Madam Pomfrey has given him his own bed! I laughed out loud. I'm also kind of proud of Harry. It's almost like popping in to say hi to the Matron, is like a self assuring thing that he won't necessarily end up here as a patient.........but he is Harry Potter, so if he thinks that, he's probably dreaming! The turmoil surrounding Hermione and Ron is certainly taking it's toll on Harry, and I have to agree with some of the other reviewers of this chapter, that Harry may feel like a child in a divorce situation, even though he himself wouldn't recognize these feelings. Poor kid! I'm glad he has Ginny, his rock. Anyway, fantastic story and I'm really enjoying it! Reviewer: Hope Anonymous Date: 2005.03.11 - 11:26PM Title: Riddle...Tom Riddle Excellent! I love Harry kicking Percy's a**! Lol. He still managed to so it with class.
Ron and Hermione are heading for one major explosion. I wish we had seen the major fight that ended their relationship, but I have a feeling that we will definately be seeing a blow out in the future. Still, I have hope that all will be well after some more drama. I really think that they will have a stronger relationship later on because they had to be without one another and saw how hard that was. Yes, I know...ME = OPTIMIST. LOL.
Okay, enough psychoanalyzing. I loved the chapter and am thrilled (as always) with your version of Harry and Ginny's relationship. They somehow seem to get subtly stronger with each chapter. Looking forward to the next one. I love waking up on Fridays and heading straight for the computer! Reviewer: cyberpurple Anonymous Date: 2005.03.11 - 04:17PM Title: Riddle...Tom Riddle Brilliant chapter as always... I wish I could write as well as you can. I could see Dumbledore dying but I have a feeling it won't be until book 7 because otherwise the dynamic of the books might change too much. But I too was sooo shocked by it being Sirius in OoTP that I'm not going to comment definitively either way,. Reviewer: Queen maebh Anonymous Date: 2005.03.11 - 03:51PM Title: Riddle...Tom Riddle please please please don't go with the whole Dumbledore suddenly becoming frail and dying bit. I honestly think that while he may be frail, he is best in his element when strategizing and fighting. I can't see him simply losing his luster. If he goes, he goes with a bang, similar to the bumblebee he is so appropriately named after: he may die, but he'll leave a pretty nasty wound in tom's side.
Other than that, good story. keep those chapters comin'! :-) Reviewer: kjpzak Signed Date: 2005.03.11 - 11:26AM Title: Riddle...Tom Riddle Just have to laugh - I just wrote what was in Sirius' box of effects (based on your review) for my own story, and it included a mirror! Perhaps some of your talent is wearing off? I can only hope!
While Harry's closest support system is stumbling, it was really nice to see him start to build a new one/or able to realize he's got another one with the professors who are quickly recognizing (if they haven't already) that he a peer.
Loved Percy and that gold chain - what an attempt to look older and wiser beyond his years.
I love Abe.
I thought Harry's reasonings for not wanting Snape showed great maturity. Instead of an argument based out of anger and hatred, he had good valid reasons, especially his first one, the simple reason of Snape not trusting him. It was nice to see Dumbledore respect that.
And yes, I can see Dumbledore being the logical choice for beloved character demise. for Harry to truly come into his own, though, I think that has to happen. How do you learn what you are truly capable of until you are on your own?
Wonderful stuff! Thank you! Reviewer: Ima Quidditch Fan Anonymous Date: 2005.03.11 - 11:01AM Title: Riddle...Tom Riddle Loved Harry's 'that's my girl' line!!! So cute.
I am so sick of Hermione and well Ron too.... Can I just &@^Y and then ^^)^$ let the DEs have them? No? Oh, ok.
Well, looking forward to more of your fabulous Harry/Ginny goodness. Reviewer: angiegs Anonymous Date: 2005.03.11 - 10:11AM Title: Riddle...Tom Riddle Poor Harry, I really feel for him with Ron and Hermione. Its very unfair of them to bicker at each other through him. What a tough situation.
I loved that Harry stood up to DD about Snape sponsoring the DA. The rest of the students shouldn't have to suffer because Snape is a greasy git. The meetings are purely voluntary and I would imagine that attendance would drop if Snape was involved. You Go Harry!
As far as the death goes in book 6. Before book 5 was released JKR had commented on a 'horrible' death that she had a hard time writing. Which we all knew that this turned out to be Sirius. However, this time she has said nothing about the character deaths in book 6 only that there would be more deaths in general with the next two books. Because of her silence of who does die in this book I think it will be a relatively minor character, one that isn't quite to close to her to heart. I could be totally wrong and I probably am but that is my thoughts.
Cheers and have a great weekend.
angie Reviewer: HarryPassionFan Anonymous Date: 2005.03.11 - 09:45AM Title: Riddle...Tom Riddle It does seem like Harry is the child during a divorce. No shock that Percy was the observer and I'm glad that Harry beat him to a pulp. Oh boy I can't wait to see what happens between Snape and Harry and I agree with Harry Snape maybe loyal to Dumbledore but Snape still regards Harry as James and if Snape continues to think of Harry as James there will be no way that they could get along. Can't wait until next Friday
