Such a sad chapter. No flames from me. I had a feeling it was coming one way or another, since only James is mentioned in the summary of the sequel. My guess would be that Draco is under the imperious curse and that Neville isn't really Neville, but a Death Eater using polyjuice potion. If so, Neville could have been captured when his Gran was killed. This story is very well-written and it wouldn't be Harry Potter if were all sunshine and daisies.

I've had two miscarriages but have had the comfort of thnking that there could have been something wrong with the foetus, but to have someone deliberately do this must be pain beyond belief It also makes me think and pray for others in our world who maybe suffering loss just now.

Well.. it is either Draco or Neville that made it happen and Snape that brewed it, they need to be taken by the short hairs and burned..... I know that this was a difficult thing to write, but you did well

Well I don't know figured you were actually going to go after James never figured it would be the unborn that was a surprise AND all the more surprised you didn't have Harry go off guns blazing after Voldy do think that was your chance to make it a great read if you did.

Very sad. I had a feeling this was going to happen, though, because I read the summary of ABSENCE MAKES THE HEART GROW FONDER (since it was at the top of your list of stories, being in alphabetical order), which said that Ginny would have to return to Hogwarts for her seventh year without Harry and James. Since Bryce wasn't mentioned at all, I figured something must have happened to him/her. So, I was expecting it, while hoping I was wrong.
My current theory is that it was Neville under the Imperius Curse, but since Narcissa was killed (and there are signs that Pansy is pregnant), I could possibly see it being Malfoy. Voldemort might have threatened to hurt Pansy and their unborn baby, and his mother's death would make Draco believe such threats should be taken very seriously. However, the lone figure in front of the fire sounds like he's most likely Neville. He would be wracked with sorrow if he'd done anything to hurt Harry and Ginny, even if he was Imperius'ed.
I know that this story is complete, and I'll know soon enough how it ends. I just thought I'd share my theories and how I came to them, in case it interests you to know your readers are interpreting hints you've dropped in the story.

well ill definetlky continur to read. i read this fic ignoring the death warning in the hopes that it wouldnt be to painful because you wrote it.i was right . it was painful but it happens and life goes on.it is still a wonderful story.

:'( omg thats so awful! so sad! i'm trying to decide wether or not i think its malfoy... i dont really like him most of the time but i'm not sure if its him... erg! i dont know! which means you're writing it well bc usually i can at least guess... if i had to guess i'd say malfoy but i think i'm prejudiced... I think the spy is Neville because he feels horrible about it and will never get over it. Not Malfoy he wouldn't feel sorry for them no matter what and he is probably having problems with Pansy anyways. Great story so far I am enjoying it but it was sad, this chapter.

You're definetly right about me absolutely hating you at the moment. But since the story is completed at the time of my read, you can make up for it, somehow, in less than 10 minutes. You better hope you can anyway.......... And I gave you a rating of a four for this chapter, although the other chapters I rated as 10. Nobody should kill the poor child!!!!!
