I hope with all my heart that this story is not abandoned. This is truly one of the best stories I have read. All of the characterizations are spot on. I especially love your "Ron". The reader gets to see all of his best qualities. Thank you for not making him a buffoon. I love how you are within canon and have added your own wonderful ideas.
With work and your young family, I imagine it is very hard to carve our time for fan fiction. So many good writers move on to bigger and better things. I really hope you will finish this story

Author's Response: I know, I know! Doubtful as it may seem, I really haven't abandoned the story. Life has just been life. I will finish it, but I want the time to do it properly. I'm incedibly appreciative of those of you who are still patient after so long.

Author's Response: He is! Although, there's been a whole ton of other real-world things, too. This next chapter's half done, and longer already, so that's a good sign.

Oh Harry Harry Harry. I'm surprised that once it happened they were still able to stun Harry you'd think he'd have pulled his wand and been on guard as soon as Dean was hit. And cliffhangers are just mean... and rude. ;-)

It's good to see an update to this story. I was hoping you hadn't given up on it. Hopefully, we'll get an update quicker this next time.
It doesn't surprise me at all that Hermione was able to figure out how to do the spell. I like that you introduced/had Rolf in this chapter, too. Canon pairings are lining up left and right now.

At the end of the first paragraph you have this: -were as different from possible as it was to be.- I think you meant, -were as different from each other as ti was possible to be.-
That said, I am happy to see you posting again. Any possibility of seeing any more from your other ongoing story: 'Vires, Veneratio, Diligo; part I'?
It was a good chapter, though not a lot happened, except for the cliffhanger ending.

As for VVD, yes - but likely not until this story is complete.
