Wow! This chapter was great. Harry and Ginny rushing to get to Hogwarts before the spell was completed kept me on the edge of my seat. hehe. Nice work!

aww, such a s weet chapter
I was right after all about the darkness leaving Harry when they made love
I REALLY don't like Dumbledore and co for being willing to put the spell back on when they don't even know what has happened

I started reading this story late, as the description turned me off. Another Harry has to bodyguard his ex-, yadda, yadda, yadda. But none of my favorite authors were updating and I was getting desperate, so when a new chapter was posted, I gave it a try. And found out that Harry only barely knew that Ginny existed. So I had to read a little farther to find out why and, before I knew it, I was completely sucked in and this story jumped to the top of the 'must read' list. And it just kept getting better and more mysterious. By the time I finally figured out what was going on, the relentless momentum of the story carried me along, always needing to know 'what happens next'. I did feel that the sudden resolution of Harry's problem was a let down. I can see that fear feeds the darkness within him and trust pushes it away, but for one night of lovemaking to drive it away completely seems like a deus-ex-machina. But maybe it's not gone for good?

In any case, the quality of writing and the headlong force of the story pushed any complaints aside and slammed me against the end of the last chapter with a sickening thud. Please have mercy on me, as I limp my way to the Emergency Room, and post soon.

What a way to end the chapter, it left me on the edge of my seat literally! I've never seen Harry portrayed in this light and I love it. He works better as a more powerful character to me, and the plot is so unique that I wouldn't mind reading the whole thing again once a new chapter comes. You're an amazing writer and the depth and thought put into your story is inspiring (yours is actually the first fan fic I ever read). Any chance you'll be updating soon?

Brilliant brilliant story. Found only recently and couldn't leave it alone. Have had to stop myself from reading ahead because I was so concerned about Harry and Ginny. Am now hanging out for the next chapter. Please let it be soon as my stomach is full of knots worrying about the outcome. Thanks for writing.

Magnificent story. The pacing is incredible - haveing the relationship develop before the great twist is masterful. The characterisation is wonderful and the use of slightly incorrect references to Hogwarts to demonstrate the fidelius is excellent.
The only two minor criticisims are that if Ginny was afraid of rain she would have gone mad on or about the 21st of November when the english autumn really got going, and rain in England kind of drizzles incessantly. Big storms are a remarkably rare occurence in England - this story has more storms in it than I have experienced in the last five years. Really that is a minor quibble, however, because as a dramatic device it works quite well (and there is always Pratchetts excuse of psychotropic weather), and your cultural references are impeccably English. (Making the default assumption that you are American, here)
The one peice of plot I don't like so much with is Harrys compulsion to do harm. Evil is not simply about causing suffering and pain - insiduous evil, for example Malfoy senior, is one of the most dangerous types in the books. I would argue that corrupting Ginny (either leading her on or forcing himself on her) would perhaps be a more likely course of action.
I would also argue point blank that evil and love are not mutually exclusive - I know I would commit acts of unspeakable evil for the one I love if it would make her happy.
I must also commend your restraint in this last chapter for having our Heroic couple bother to get clothed. The line "But Haaarrryyy, you're only going to banish them afterwards..." would have sped all too readily to my pen, because frankly the Idea of the pair of them showing up in the Headmaster's office mother-naked had me tickled pink in the circumstances.
A generally Outstanding story

I love the story, but am wondering when you are going to publish the next chapter?

ANOTHER GREAT CHAPTER!

Lots of fluff, but really great writing and I love the feeling of nerves "I" felt while reading...just waiting...for something to go all dark and scary again. You placed little moments just perfectly, like the shower slip, to make the reader think "RUN GINNY!" Great job!!! Can't wait til the next chapter, it's going to be wonderful as usual.

PS - this line and a couple others seem a little off. Nothing too bad, but FYI "Catching her hand, he pulled her back his."

All I have to say it wow. I just found this story and I am very impressed with it. After several years of reading HP fan fiction, very few stories really catch my attention anymore. But this one was just so original and kept me interested the entire time. I had guessed from the beginning of the headaches that the Harry/Ginny we knew were in their somewhere and had had their memories modified, yet the way you wrote it, all the action scenes, kept me in suspense and guessing every chapter. I was also impressed with how willing you were to put your characters in real danger. All too many times when the action scenes come in stories, authors have Harry swoop in in just the perfect time and nobody is ever hurt and all is well in the world. As I read about Malfoy killing Ron I was shocked and impressed that you had the balls to actually kill off a character, though I was also incredibly glad when I found out he wasn't truly dead either. I don't know if the Weasley's could have handled Ron dying after all that has been happening to their family.

You have a fan. I'm going to be anxiously awaiting the next chapter. I truly hope that Harry and Ginny will be able to convince their family that Harry is better now. I fear that if they take back their memories again Harry might NEVER find a solution to his problem. And really, how fair is that! Grr! Sorry. You know a story is good when you start reacting to it as if it were real, and I have been yelling at my computer screen for pretty much the entire two days it took me to finish your story. Update soon! And great job!

I just realized that I still get to leave a review here since you don't know what I think of this last chapter.

Is it bad that I HATE the Weasley's right now? I know they're doing what they think is best, but still....

Harry and Ginny will get there in time. I just know it! And I can't wait to see what happens when they get to Hogwarts.

The two of them are beautiful together. I just love this so much. And thanks for letting me read the other part. It was amazing!!!!!

Woohoo! Another chapter! Lovely, lovely Valentine's gift!

Here comes the sun....with a threat of eclipse! You just can't lay off the angst and terror, can you? **teasing** The "several sunlit days" you described so tenderly more than make up for the panic at the end. That and the fact that I trust you to deliver a happily-ever-after in the end.

Off to re-read and anticipate ch. 20!

This is an AWESOME chapter. Definitely worth the 2 month wait. I hope the next chapter comes along soon. You really packed all the TLC in there and I love how the emotions just spill out of the prose. Nice, nice nice. I was half expecting the chapter title to be like Love's cleansing, or maybe Power of love (or something equally lame). You know ... Price of power, Unleashed, Power of love. Heh, heh. I am a dork. Well, just shows I am no author. Thanks for the update and hope to read more really, really soon!

If Harry can make it through a door without being killed, it will be a wonder. Why on earth would they DO that to BOTH of them?

LOL, not that I expect and answer...that would take the fun out of you tortuing us.

Personally, I hope everyone, especially Remus who sent him on this "mission" get's exactly what they gave...in spades!

Oh WOW...
...
Just WOW...
...
That was so intensly beautiful!
Trough the whole chapter I kept thinking...."Now it's gonna come, Evil returns" but it never did.
You kept us in such an angsty mood in the last chapters that it is hard to kick that habit of expecting the un-expected :D

Now I hope they will return before the potion is finished and that they will have the chance & time to explain that all is well. *please*
But if the Evil was expelled from Harry....where did it go. Or did it just vanish like a piece of soul without something to contain it. Yep, that must be it.

Until next time, take care. C
