In 24 hrs., I'll be waiting outside B&N to get my copy of Death Hallows. I just want to say this for all Harry Potter fans: It's been real. No matter what happens in Deathly Hallows. No matter who dies. Miss Rwoling has forever imortalized herself in history. Ten years ago, we began this journey together. In that decade, our numbers have grown substantially. Whatever the future may hold for Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Neville, Luna and the rest of the characters, we'll always remember how it began. The Harry Potter series has special meaning to me. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone was the very first book I ever read by my self. It is the single reason I became a reader. When I first got the book in 1997, it was the only book I owned. Thanks to Miss Rowling, she got me interested in reading and my personal library now includes close to a hundred books. I owe more to Miss Rowling than I will ever repay. I truly believe that once I read the final word of the final chapter of the final book, I'll get teary eyed if not outright cry. In 24 hrs. the journey will be over. And all I have to say is this: It's been one hell of a time and I've enjoyed the whole damn ride. I hope all of you have enjoyed Miss Rowling's brilliant work as much as I have and that Deathly Hallows lives up to the stanard you and I have come to expect from her. That's all I got to say right now. ~Jeff~ ShadeXH came out of the woodwork on 2007.07.20 - 02:39AM to say: Agreed man, it's been one hell of a ride. MG and NerdLee came out of the woodwork on 2007.07.20 - 12:56PM to say: Good job to all the winners! Man, that was one great speech. JKR is definitly my hero, and will continue to be even after I turn the last page. These books have been more than just books to me. In a way, they have given me an adventure as well (not just staying up till midnight to get the book and reading it until I drop). Once the books are over, I fully intend to stay right here on SIYE and read all the adventures we can come up with for Harry Potter. I hope you do as well. Less than a day people! Countdown! Again, Mozel tov to the winners! Soccer Devil22 came out of the woodwork on 2007.07.20 - 01:10PM to say: Alright, folks twelve hrs. and coutning!
