Prank Wars Challenge Update #2 |
| A couple of days ago, Luna was seen tapping on the storefront window of Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes and waving hello to George and Ron inside. Later that day, she invited a friend over to her house. “Hi Richard. I need your help with a project I’m working on.” “Ok,” he replied. “What do you need?” “I’m going to drink this potion I just made and we’re going to play Exploding Snap for 15 minutes. This way you know I’m not going to poison you.” “Poison me?!” Richard said, backing away a few steps. “Yes. I can’t test it on myself so I need you,” she said as if it was clear as day. After 15 minutes where they both won three games apiece, Richard did drink the potion. “Now I need you to duel me for about 15 minutes. Give me your best shot,” she added. Following her instructions, Richard dueled Luna. But something was definitely wrong. Every spell, regardless of strength, concentration, or direction, flew in some crazy direction away from both of them, with no power or effectiveness behind them. If you were watching, all his colored spells, charms, and hexes flew out of his wand in some crazy cork screw pattern in some off-the-wall direction and fizzled out. About 15 minutes later, they started shooting straighter. Luna actually yelled, “YES!” A few days later, Luna was seen tapping on the storefront window of Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes and waving hello to George and Ron inside.
