The Tri-Tournament Challenge Update #2
As the Challengers and audience alike gathered around the Quidditch Pitch, which was surrounded in a very heavy fog or mist, Mr. Bagman explained the next Task.

“For the purpose of not seeing what you are about to face, the pitch is shrouded in mist. There are two reasons for this. One, so you can’t see what you are about to enter and two, some secrecy of the three ministries involved.”

“We have taken a number of ideas from the different Auror Training Academies and combined them into this Obstacle Course. You lot will enter from here and hopefully come out at the other side end where others are waiting for you. Inside the Course there are a number of obstacles you must get around. Some are easy and some are not. There are signs directing you in which direction you must go. They are indiscriminate. They are based upon who gets to it first or second and so on. The first person might have to go left while the second person may have to go straight. So what obstacles you face are at random. But all of you will face equal difficulties.”

Walking up to what appeared to be an entrance, he added, “If you are ready, please enter here. This is a timed event so don’t waste your time inside.”

Come on you lot! I’ve given you two good ideas to get some plot bunnies to start nesting in your little gray cells. Give it a go.

Hmm... I think I have an idea, and I think I can get it in on time. Let's hope this isn't another one/two-horse race.

tangle elfwand I hope more than that. And I thought this Challenge was an easy one.

It does appear easier than the last one. I just found I didn't find the premise all that plausible. Easier yes, still quite prescriptive which is great for some writers but in this instance, not for me.

The question now is whether SIYE offers some form of medical coverage for the story participants we injure in our stories. I just put Neville in the infirmary. You will not approve of what I do to another favorite (cough, cough) character. Uhm...I hope you're upset. Sigh.

I will make time over the next several days to work with/beta anyone who needs help.

Merry Christmas folks! It's a Wonderful Potter/Ginny!

Eric

I've posted mine. It was...a very difficult plot to utilize for me after all this time. No spoilers.

I'm still willing to beta for anyone else. Please feel free to email me. Eric
