2010 Annual Fund Drive |
| Yet again, the time to pay our annual hosting bill is fast approaching. SIYE does not advertise or charge admittance. Consequently, we must turn to raising donations for the site to function because we have no income. Thanks to the 2009 Semi-Annual Fundraiser, we are better off than we normally are at this time, but we are still short of what we need to ensure that the site remains online and able to function, etc. Therefore, we’re asking for you to find it in your heart to donate to our cause if you can afford to and are willing. Even the smallest donation makes a difference and will be greatly appreciated by SIYE’s patrons, authors, etc. All donations go toward the continued functioning of the site. HGRHfan35: I understand your situation, but am not entirely sure how to resolve it. I looked at iDEAL, but I don't think we could pull that off. I believe that PayPal will let you attach a bank account to a PayPal account and work that way. Otherwise, I'm not entirely sure. Sorry if this isn't helpful.

I think you should detail exactly what your expenses are to keep SIYE up and running. Also a running total of what you have collected. You might find people are more inclined to give if they know this type of information. I have given twice now, but this thought is always lurking anytime I see a website asking for donations.

Question: I have asked this before but is there any way to donate if you don't have a Credit Card? Where I live, it is not such a common thing to have. We do have online payments through bank accounts but it is called IDEAL.
