I love the way you tie in canon stories (i.e. the way that Sirius was framed) into this story as it happening in the present.

Have read I think to your book 2 or so let you time to get a few more chaps since I hate having to wait for the updates specially on such wonderful stories like yours. Don't think I have reviewed my first time through so will do it know. Really quite the good begining basicly kept everything in line with cannon other than which you had to add in this was a very good start. Though cant help but feel sorry for Black you could of let him off the hook but hey its part of story and plays an important part in the story also.

Wow, I'm glad I started reading this story. Good stuff.
Now, I don't know if Sirius got a big role just so you could write about how he came to be the murderous lunatic the whole wizarding world believed he was, or if he's going to have a big role throughout the story. I guess I'll have to see for myself, eh?

What a great start to the story... poor Harry and Daphne, both lost loved ones because of Peter and Voldemort. Harry lost his mother and father, and Daphne lost two best firends, one which was more then a sister to her.

This is an awsome concept, I think you are off to a great start. I can't wait to see what you do with harry and his friends. I can't wait to see what happends between Harry and Ginny and how Ron reacts. Keep up the great writting!
Author's Response: I've always loved AUs where Harry was raised differently, but I haven't found many good ones. The idea of Daphne came from an aborted literary travesty where she was the DADA teacher. Then I thought, "Hey, why not have Daphne raise him?" I still remember writing the first chapter, when I had no idea if anyone would like this thing.
