I just have to say this - I love the Malfoy/Ginny interaction. I hope you have more of it in the future; it's actually entertaining to see their wits battle out in a verbal spar. And you wrote it so nicely too; not overplaying Ginny's "spunk" or causing Malfoy to be a wuss or something.
Anyways, great job on this scene, one of my favorites overrall.

Author's Response: Excellent! I'm very glad the Ginny/Malfoy interaction seems sincere. I was surprised actually by how easily the words between them seemed to come out- I guess it's fairly easy to anticipate how much natural enemies will hate each other!
And I anticipate them meeting again soon for sure, so you should see more of it in the near future, Thanks again!

Down to details. First, is Ginny in 6th year or is Hogwarts closed? The negotiation between Ginny and Malfoy was classic and suspenseful; two poker players pushing the bluffing to the limit. Does the Vow apply to Malfoy as well if he doesn't satisfy his end of the bargain? I would assume so. Did I miss something? When do they meet next?
Author's Response: Right- Hogwarts is closed, as I imagine it. And the vow applies to Malfoy insofar as Ginny will not have to hold up her end unless the info Malfoy gave her leads to the trio (which it does). So no, you haven't missed anything. Please, keep reading, and thank you for your wonderful comments. I'm very glad someone commented on the interaction between Ginny and Malfoy in this chapter, it's my favorite part.
