Luna was great! She may be a bit dotty but sometimes she has the most sense.
I'm quite familiar with the 'manananggal', it's a famous Philippine folk lore.

Luna's idea of making a list was brilliant - I use that method of decision-making myself at times. Too bad Ginny's so stubborn! Everything points to Harry being both perfect AND INTERESTED! How did she get so thick-headed??

She's avoiding Harry!! If she wants to get over Harry without him noticing then avoiding him is not the way to go. Haha cute though. He SO likes her and she doesn't even know it. Oh my Lord I love making lists like that with friends. The only real problem is that you usually have to centre the list around the one that you actually like otherwise the list will never work. In Ginny's case it works right??
I don't think anyone would turn away a flirty Harry? I mean come on, he's one sexy guy...

Oh what a lovely story. People need to give Ginny a break! She spent so many years pinning after Harry. She probably thought every wave/smile/converstation was Harry showing interest in here. Then what happened? Nothing. I don't blame the poor girl for finally giving up and now refusing to see anything he does as just Harry being friendly. There's only so many times a girl can get her hopes stomped on.
Luna would have one of those quills, wouldn't she? It makes me wonder what my papers would turn out like if I had one of them. Either very good or VERY bad. Why do I have this horrible vision of Luna misplacing that paper? Of course the results would be disastorous, with half the male population convincing themselves they fit that description and try to get her to go out with them. As much as I love Luna, I would never let her have something like that to keep.
Author's Response: I wholeheartedly agree with you, TGIF - that's why Ginny is in denial here, precisely because it's very hard to accept something that you've been wanting for so long when it's suddenly handed to you on a silver platter. So Ginny's absolutely within her rights to be very careful about her feelings because she doesn't want to get hurt again. But then again, it's very hard to be immune to Harry's charm once he turns it on, right? Thanks for seeing where Ginny's coming from.
