Awesome chapter! The conversation between Ron and Ginny was really sweet and Ron's little poem had me laughing really hard. It was nice to see some brother-sister bonding. The moments in the rain between Harry and Ginny were also really wonderful. Oh, damn that lightening. I'm not too worried, though, I know they'll get together soon enough.

I liked Ron and Ginny's brother-sister bonding. And Ron, of all people, telling Ginny that Harry fancies her.

Gasps...Ron comparing Hermione to food. He MUST be in love.
I love the mud fight, Ginny's wisdom, the talk with Ron (who is so sweet, I love him too).

Poor Ginny... I knew something was going to go wrong. Although I have to say that I'm rather relieved that she didn't tell him, cause I really don't want this story to end. I do think that Harry's being really obvious, and I hope Ginny follows through with her new plan.
This was the highlight of my day. I can't wait for the next chapter!!!!

This is b7 far my favorite chapter thus far. There was soo much H/G interaction that I was practically beaming by the end of it. I love how your Ginny i s soo perfect for Harry. She can still be serious yet keep things light for him and she counters him so well. When he wants to fly, she turns it into a race. It depicts their relationship so beautifully. I also loved your brother/sister interaction. So many stories just make Ron into this jerk of an older brother who treats Ginny like she is 10. Your Ron understood her and Harry and pegged her perfectly. I still love the relationshiop Hermione and Ginny have too, like best friends, how she hisses at Ginny to tell her about it later- so realistic! I hope that Ginny goes for it this time and that Harry hasn't been giving mixed signals!
Author's Response: Hi Qt. I agree with you - Ron does not need to be portrayed as a mean oaf since he wouldn't be Harry's friend if he was. I would think that he and Ginny would be the closest among the siblings. And I'm so happy you thought the interactions between the characters were realistic. I constantly worry that I'm not getting the characters right, so reviews like yours make me feel fulfilled as a fanfic writer. Thanks a lot!

This was by far my favorite chapter! It was really great - these are the things I loved:
1. The fat lady and Violet getting tipsy and telling them they were a cute couple (and the new Monty Python reference!)
2. Ginny and Ron's conversation - true sibling love. and Ron's poem - so connected to food!
3. Harry and Ginny goofing around on the Quidditch pitch and in the rainstorm. That is so what teenagers would do! and what people in love would do! :) There interaction seemed very real!
I would have loved for Ginny and Harry to kiss right there in the rainstorm and mud - very sexy, very Spiderman! :) But... I'm also glad that you are dragging it out because I love reading your writing! Great job!

I loved the Fat lady and Violet's dialogue... "Insouciant" is such a fun word! ... and the scene in the common room was awesome - It made me feel like I was actually there, watching/participating in the fun and comraderie. The rainy quidditch pitch was picture perfect. SQUEE! I can't wait for your next update, and HUGE congrats on yet another trinket - you're going to need a charm bracelet soon!!!
