Why did Ron and Hermione have to die? Despite that, though, I loved this peice. Of course, I DO know that in a war, not everything can end happily, and that loved ones will die, so that's realistic.

Like I said above, I loved it, and I loved it all, so it's impossible to pick out a favorite scene, but one thing that greatly impressed me was your ability to summerize the war with so few words, and of course, Harry's feelings. And Ginny's, too, of course.

Had a lump in my throat at the end.

Author's Response: Why did R & H die? Not because I am entirely cruel, I assure you. Rather, I think it strengthens the message of Hope. Does that sound odd? If you think about it, the Hope that Harry has is that, in the end, he will be reunited with his friends and family in a much better place. To have such Hope after a loss so dear is quite an accompishment, don't you think? Thank you for your kind words about my writing -- that is, after all, why I've decided to do this. No, not to hear your kind words, but rather to find a way to make my writing convey thoughts and feelings, and hopefully to wrap you, the Kind Reader, up into the story in a way that may make it seem real. Author's Response: I, too, hated that. It isn;t what I'd want to have happen, R&H dieing, but it felt necessary to the story and the message I had hoped to deliver.
