Well, I certainly considered the Obliviated/ amnesia option, but I really thought you were going in a different direction. Whoops! That’s not a complaint just allows me to narrow my scope. Of course, this brings up a slew of other questions. Who Obliviated him and why? Death Eaters (wouldn’t they just kill him)? Ministry? Himself? Other? How long ago did it happen (as that could affect things a great deal too if it wasn’t shortly after he left)? Hmmm. I loved Ron and Ginny’s opposing viewpoints. Why wouldn’t he want to come back to all the people who love him? Why would he want to return to the wizarding world and leave behind the normal life he’s had? Both good points, but ultimately Harry is Harry, and he will return to his old life at least on some level. I can’t wait to see him get a wand in his hands again. I think a very conflicted Harry is going to wake up especially as he will think of himself as Sean too. Did the Obliviator give “Sean� a lifetime of memories, or does Sean think he had a head injury that caused amnesia? If merely amnesia, that’s easier to deal with. If he has a life time of false memories, that’s going to be difficult for Harry to deal with. Of course, that’s assuming that Harry remembers everything or almost everything when he wakes up, and that’s a big if.

And of course his Muggle girlfriend resembled Ginny. His subconscious knew what he was looking for. Hee hee.

One correction – you mentioned an "Untouchable". I think you meant "Unspeakable" as this involves neither Eliot Ness nor a caste system. Hee hee again.

Loved, loved, loved the chapter. Can’t wait for the next.

If I remember correctly, when Harry went away, he and Ginny were not solid. Ginny was angry. And then she went out with Oliver after only 14 months quite easily and forgot Harry quite easily. And then she got married and had oliver's child. We shouldn't sugar-coat this Ginny as a person who has been pining over Harry for the past 4 years. And now Harry is obviously happy. I wouldn't be surprised if this new redhead is his fiancee or at least a very serious girlfriend.Perhaps? I think you have left us on the precipice of a complicated situation for Harry to deal with when he wakes up. If he re,embers both worlds, yes, he will rememnber Ginny, but then when he finds out she didn't seriously look for him, didn't wait for him, and then got married and strarted a family with Oliver, he will probably consider his current situation as the one he should remain loyal to. I'm looking forward to see how your plot unfolds: this is a great point in the story to speculate, speculate, speculate!!!

AH, the plot is starting to take off! Ginny poses an interesting question, but I have a slightly different one: she was so sure that Harry had just left and abandoned them all. But the best way for an attacker to cover your tracks (and avoid being caught) would be to make it look like Harry had left of his own will. Surely that would have occured to her? We know the investigation was still on-going at least a year after his disappearance, so presumably someone had considered the possibility, Why didn't she?

I eagerly await the next chapter in hopes of learning more about what happened to Harry and his reaction to being back in the Wizarding World.

Interesting question - why should Harry return to the wizarding world? He wiould still face Death Eaters and nasty reporters while finding out that everyone he considered friend or family gave up on him, was having a good life without him, a life that he would only complicate because of the Death Eaters and reporters, and that he was discovered purely by accident. That Ginny hadn't even tried to look for him and is "available" only because of the death of her husband, someone she married two years after his disappearance, should only confirm that he doesn't really have anything to return to. If he was happy as Sean Collins, how will they persuade him that returning to their world is worth the effort and trouble? Even if he wanted to again be a wizard, would he want to return to the British wizard community or go to some place not burdened with memories?

A bit of a sticky wicket (we Brits really don't say that, but what the hey) you've gotten everyone into. This is not going to be a happy Harry that wakes up, is it?
