I could not connect this with the war Harry Potter fought which was a fight between withchs / wizards on either side. Not troops in uniform. Interesting style.

Hmm I like it though I couldn't help but feel that instead of a one shot you should of put this more in poem form that is what it seemed like it wanted to be the whole time I was reading it.

would this be a muggle story? artillery? cavalry? wha....is this even in the potterverse, cos I don't see anything that identifies it as such...
Author's Response: That is the question, isn't it? Should it be muggle? Or wizard? But then, when reading the story, doesn't it fit for both? Do not people in both worlds long to see their loved one as their army returns triumphant? However, I will try my best to answer your question. It would seem, yes, that the story has little to do with the Potterverse, but looking closer, you will notice that this story is part of my "World at War" series, wherein Technomancy (the producing of techno-magic object hybrids) plays a big part, and wherein the Potterverse characters realize the futility of fighting a defensive, hit-and-run war in favor of an organized, full-scale war.
