Well looks like your starting things off well James is gone so possibly looking at the new DA teacher??? My money is on that. I will say surprised you waited that long for Rita to be found out though you really didn't mention her stories anyways.

Why do the people in authority always seem to make a mess of things? Sheesh! Great chapter though. A picky little nugget but I felt that maybe you emphasized Tonks' tripping more than necessary - it seemed perhaps a tad excessive. (Just a thought, not criticizing!) Good story, I love the way this is progressing. This is still one of my favorite fics :D Keep up the good work, and I can't wait to read more! I also wanted to say that I truly love how you manage to fit so much of what happened in the books, into this AU fic with his parents!

Well done; Fudge, Umbridge, & Skeeter each seem to be in character as far as I can tell. Percy, too, for that matter. Wonder how successful James was at calming Sirius? :-} I'd expect Tonks to be .. fairly irritated, as well. In fact, I'd expect a bunch of the Aurors to be Annoyed: training a new manager is a lot of work.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review, Believe me, most of the Aurors were pissed but had no choice. James just managed to calm Sirius down short of stunning him. Tonks was mad as well but didn't show it in the office. Thanks again for reviewing.
