I say that when Ginny and Rose disarmed each other and caught the wands, they should've just kept dueling with the other person's wand since they were both armed. That would've made their duel truly awesome.
I guess Harry's the only one allowed to wake up Dumbledore. Otherwise, Ginny and Rose would've gotten him themselves without bothering Harry.
Author's Response: Well, the rules said that disarming your opponent was one way to win. Ginny thought it best to have Rose's brother there to give her some support.

I loved this chapter! Not that I'm biased or anything (LOL!) I love that five of the winners for the DC were from Gryffindor! =] I'm also glad that Neville and Rose finally got together. =] Another great chapter and I can't wait to find out what happens next! =]

soemtimes ginny needs to allow the poor boy to be his own man and allow him to screw up or in this case work out the problem with nevelle...sometimes she just gets in the way more the harry and that takes some work....glad rose and nevelle are together now and life should be fine for a while...kutgw
Author's Response: Yeah, that's the purpose for what happened. Ginny herself has some growing up to do and that includes realizing that Harry can be mature as well.
Life will actually get harder as the war escalates as you saw at the end of the chapter. Neville will be a refuge for Rose as she becomes more active in the war effort. Thanks for the review.

Good God, Neville finaly having the courage to kiss Rose! You made my day end happy so sweet dreams for me, I hope. Loved the end to the duellng contest and the way Angie took out Fred, serves him right :)

Another good chapter in your great story.
I have to say that I am glad the duel is over, it was starting to drag a little bit. I really enjoy your story, but I feel that the Ti/Rose drama and this duel has kind of slowed the story down and made it loss its focus to some degree. I imagine that the attack at St. Mungo's will help to refocus it.
Nice to see Rose/Neville together. Maybe we can see them on a date together!
And of course more, extended Harry/Ginny is always nice. Keep up the great work and please update soon!

Author's Response: I know. I realized when I was writing the duels that it would take long because of the number of students involved. It's a good thing I inserted some other stuff in between or I'm afraid some of you might have stopped reading.
Yeah, the TI/Rose thing was a bit drawn out but it was needed to get here. Thanks for the review.

I'm getting a bit anoyed with Ginny. It seems like she has the right to listen and examine Harry's every thought, but Harry cant do anything back. I understanf that she's looking out for Rose. But how would Ginny like it if Harry examined her every memory. I think harry should try doing the same to Ginny, listening to what she talks about in private.
sorry but I just think she needs to stop. anyway iot was a good chapter. The duels were interesting.
Author's Response: Well, Ginny is better at hiding things from Harry, not that she has anything to hide. She just has to realize that Harry can make good decisions on his own. Remember that the Bond occured while they were still preteens. They both need to grow up and mature. Thanks for the review.
