Exactly how was Ron being immature or insensitive?

Draco was being a complete dick, just as he had been being for years. He was hitting on Hermione in front of Ron WHILE insulting him, and yet some how Ron's the bad guy? Not only did Hermione let it continue she encouraged it and then hexed Ron when he rightfully got tired of it.

What sort of A-holes would think what either Hermione or Draco were doing was okay?

I believe the breakup is probably for the best because its obvious that Ron needs to grow up. Having said that, if Hermione and Malfoy hook up or have anything resembling a romantic relationship in any way you will have lost me as a reader. Dramione is the lowest form of fanfic filth. Otherwise, a very good chapter.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review. Don't leave, please. I promise, no Dramione here.

i tihnk its fine that they broke up and i think ron needs to figure out his problem and just deal with it but thats a lot of thinking for a hamster to do....kutgw

Author's Response: Yes, Ron needs the time to grow up and realize what he has lost. Thanks for the review.

Great chapter. Your writing is just so strong and it is so easy to picture what you are writing. I do have to admit, I am bit aggravated with Hermione. I never thought I would say that, but I do agree with Rose that Hermione might have a bit of a crush on Draco, even if she doesn't realize it yet. I understand that Ron is unsensitive and idiotic at times, but that is Ron. Her comment about not wanting to hurt Ron, made me think a bit. Does she not want to hurt him because she only wants to be with him or does she not want to hurt him because she doesn't want to be in a relationship with him anymore? I just don't know, I guess I'll just have to be patient and wait! I am still very torn about Draco, he seems like he changing and then he makes a comment about Ron's second hand robes. I don't know if he has truly changed and just said that because the heated moment or what. I am also still curious abou that pendant he gave Ti a while back, will that come back into play?

Can't wait for more.

Author's Response: Interesting comments you've given. All I can say is that your speculation has valid points. You'll have to wait a while longer to see how it all comes out. Thanks for the review. I hope to come out with the next one in another two or three weeks.

I cannort believe that hermione is so naive, did she really think that hanging out with draco would lead to absoultely nothing. i think ron was right to leave her if only just out of spite, he knew something was going on.

Author's Response: Well, in Hermione's defence, she was not actively seeking to spend time with Draco. Of course, that doesn't change things much. Thanks for the review.

Harry's current state of ignorance re: Ron/Hermione would appear to have a rather limited span.

I don't have much positive to say about Ron at this point, and suspect that a few other folks in Ron's life may well have similar perspectives. (Whether they voice them, and if so, in what context(s), is a rather different matter, of course.)

Well done.

Author's Response: Yeah, he's caught on quick. Now will he discover the truth? Stay tuned for the next chapter, coming hopefully in two weeks. Thanks for the review.

Well well, So the handsome prince woke up his Sleeping Beauty. That is so sweet! :D

When the day started with Hermione receiving the roses per Owl I was afraid they would be from Malfoy and that Ron would explode but thank goodness that that didn't happen. Nooooo, you turned it around to perform that little trick later on, you are devious. Poor Hermione, the choices she is faced with but if Draco is genuine in his changing feeling then they have my blessing but if he uses her to get closer to Harry.......oh no you wouldn't do that would you?
On the other hand, don't you feel it's time that Ron came to his hot headed senses and start behaving more like a responsable wizard instead of the immature prat he is now? I do wonder were you are going with this.

Overal a very good chapter and I'm looking forward to the next one. Thanks

Until next time, take care.

Author's Response: LOL! Actually, I originally thought of having two owls deliver to different sets of roses but the resulting scene caused a break up at breakfast. I wanted them to enjoy part of their day together before Ron's outburst. I can't comment on Draco just yet. Thanks for the review.

Another great chapter! I too thought that Hermione might be developing some feelings for Draco. Is he really still bad? I know you showed us earlier that he is just trying to get closer to Harry, but I think maybe his sly plans may be sneaking up on him as well... leading him to have sincere feelings for Hermione. It will be fun to see how it all works. Looking forward to more Harry and Ginny warm fuzzies and making up for lost time in the next chapter. kutgw

Author's Response: Thanks for the review. Hah, I can't comment on all that yet.

Guess Ron has still not matured.
I doubt but also hope that Hermoine isn't interested in Draco. Something is very very fishy about him and his attitude.
Once Harry finds out what Ron did again, i wonder what the fireworks will look like, specially given that Ginny would be also royally pissed off.
Update soon.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review. Yeah, Ron has not. Oh, Ginny will be more upset than Harry who will be more disappointed in Ron. Can't say anything about Draco right now. LOL!
