Well think Harry is walking a tight rope I really think that though Dark is more power and such I see him going light just so he doesn't go down the wrong path I see him being a bit like Daphne before this is over. Though his dream is very odd I really don't know if I should take anything from it or if it was just a dream.

Great job so far! just curious though, are we going to see any action from the burkes or even aiden in book V? Also, i've looked through and maybe i've missed it but have you distinguished if Percy is canon and is siding with the ministry?
Author's Response: It hasn't really been established, no. He distrusts Harry, certainly. He's quite politically ambitious, so as long as Fudge is the Minister, he'll logically be loyal to him. Yes, there is a caveat there...

You know Chris I find it extremely rude of you to not respond back to the reviews and comments that we are leaving with regards to your work. I don't even know why I even bother to leave a review. As a fellow author I always find the time to reply to ALL OF MY REVIEWS BECAUSE IF PEOPLE TAKE THE TIME TO READ AND TO REVIEW MY WORK THAN ITS ONLY FAIR TO RESPOND TO THEM.
Now with that out of the way I really enjoyed the chapter and most of all I liked how Daphne taught her first class and also the conversation that went on between Harry and Susan. Looking forward to more future chapters and can't wait to see what you make of this nightmare character that you have now brought into the story line.
Also I spent at least a good fifteen minutes to raise the star rating for your story because this chapter was at one and a half stars. Don't know why people dislike but as a loyal supporter this made me really mad. Please take the time to respond to the reviews even if you only spend five minutes a day at it because I am sure the reviews would like to hear feedback from you.
Author's Response: Well, thank you for your efforts on my behalf. Now, about the responses: My general practice is to respond if a person has a specific issue with something that happened in the chapter. Most of the reviews here are quite positive, but many of them ask questions I simply can't answer. I also write fairly voluminous author's notes on ff.net, which I don't post here because it isn't allowed. Those tend to answer a lot of different questions. I do read the reviews, and I greatly appreciate them. I just don't really bother responding if there simply isn't anything substantial to put in the response.

Wow, very interesting development at the end. At first I thought he was seeing a vision of his future self, yet this is, at the same, less and more terrifying than that. Luna saying that they'd all know of this darkness within him definitely seems to hold more weight now, and is very ominous. I look forward to the next installment!

This was a good chapter. I'm not sure where you're going with it all, but I'm excited for the ride. The "dream" posed a lot of questions, and I can't wait to see the effects this will have on Harry once he wakes up. I see a lot of problems coming in the near future, and I'm excited to see how you present them. As alwaya, keep it coming.

i'm definitely confued. harry's personality is definitely moving darker, as evidenced by him avoiding his close friends, snapping at susan, etc. the 'dream' was insanely creepy. i also have a feeling it wasn't a dream and something was happening to him. or it was luna. more soon.
Author's Response: It wasn't a dream, exactly. Kalas is a part of Harry's personality that's melded with his magical core. He's weak now, but he gains strength through anger and aggression on Harry's part. Luna didn't cause the dream, so much as provide an opening for Kalas to introduce himself. Obviously, she sensed his presence.
