Do we have a decent Dudley in this story? It would be OK for me. I can live with either version, a decent Dudley, a malicious Dudley, or no Dudley at all. However, a decent Dudley would be a nice change from the norm.
I fear that it Harry's health status will remain poor for the rest of his life, even if his knee is eventually healed. Harry never had a chance against the Death Eaters before, in Innocence Lost. His illness will not improve this situation. The Death Eaters won't wait until he'd taken his capsules. He can only hope that either Ginny or some adults are always near him to back him up.
Overall, it was a good start into the new story. However, as always, I can't wait that Harry leaves the Dursleys.

I can't tell you how happy I am that this story wasn't abandoned I was so disapointed that it wasn't being updated now I think I'll have to read the stories again so that I can remember what happened.
Author's Response: I'm working on the next chapter now. I hope to have it complete soon. I know I've said that a lot but now that the kids are back in school, I have more time for writing.

Seriously, why the heck is Harry going back to Privet Drive? Sirius is cleared.
What really ticked me off in the final chapter of the last story was that no one (Harry, Sirius etc.) did not even question that call. Everyone just acted like that was the only possible one, which it is not anymore. Sirius is Harry's legal guardian. Dumbledore can talk about his blood wards until his teeth falls off. If Sirius does not agree, there is no longer anything he can do.
Don't you remember how it was in the third book? The possibility to be gone from the Dursleys and live with his godfather was one of the reasons that Harry managed to conjure up the patronus to repel all those Dementors. Here, when Sirius is cleared, not even a single thougt about it. Come on!
Author's Response: Sorry you feel so strongly. I have my reasons for why I have written this, this particular way. Sirius needs to be free to come and go at any moment and he wouldn't be able to if he had Harry. Sirius was convinced the blood protection was the best thing for Harry for a little while longer.

Author's Response: Thanks. JKR opened Dudley's eyes in OOTP but he didn't show it until DH. I'm just doing it a little sooner, which is why I needed that asthma attack in there. The asthma will become less of a factor later.

Great to hear from you again!I think that Harry should overcome the Asthma because I don't think he could really do much with it!The knee will eventually heal and hopefully the asthma will to. Hopefully a update soon!I am so happy the sequel is finally up!I had actually just reread the whole other story last night!But Harry should eventually overcome the asthma,Hermione creates possible cure?Or Madam Pomphrey?Keep up the great work!!!!
Author's Response: There was permanent damage so he won't completely overcome it, but it will become less of a problem, more manageable, to nearly non-existent.
I'm glad you felt the other story worth re-reading while waiting for the sequel. Makes me feel better knowing someone else thought it turned out well.

All I can say is that everyone, especially Sirius, needs to wake up and pull their heads out of their you know whats and get Harry the heck out of that place! I don't care how freaking strong the suppossed "blood wards" are, Harry needs to be taken out of that place. Dumbledork deserves to go down simply for the fact that he forces Harry to return their year after year after year.
