That's really funny, especially Victoire. It reminds me of weddings I've been to in my family. It also reminds me of why my wife and I just ran off and got married without the insanity of the family that decides to overcontrol your life. My family would have driven me nuts if I had let them.
Ginny and Harry are really getting a liitle sad. I hope you'll take pity on them soon. Great chapter.

Hermione and little kids....makes you wonder when she'll realise that kids just don't behave like Dr Spock said they would. That will be a major shocker to her LOL.

Oké, now that felt good. I could use this chapter as a comic relief because I have to stay up with my sick, phucking, poor dog all night so I'm on the couch this night. One does all for pets and kids :)
To bad it's freezing cold in this country but toasting away at 40 degrees celcius can't be that swell either:)

I love this story!
It's really light and funny..and I love for once that Harry's the lovesick (supposedly in an unrequited way) puppy and Ginny's completely (or so it seems..) oblivious! It's so rare to see that, I find.
It's a nice change that Harry isn't completely clueless and idiotic lol :)
I always wanna read more after a chapter and that can only be a good thing! I hope it's validated soon cos I wanna see our two idiots get together! (Don't make it too ridiculously cheesy though.. I hope they stay the bantering couple they are now .. with benefits ;) of course, hehe)

After careful thought, the aggrieved greywolf will again attempt to explain himself. In my comments, it is not my intention to be holier-than-thou, condescending, or chauvinistic. I’m human like everyone, but if, because of poor phrasing, that is the way I was perceived I certainly apologize.
Rather my intention is for good. As a 58 year old physician I’ve had enough experience to say with assurance that a moral life is the best, most fulfilling life and avoids a lot of trouble and heartache. So the goal of my comments is to perhaps allow someone to avoid the mistakes I and others have made.
There is a special corollary to this goal here at SIYE. Since this is a family oriented site, my assumption is that many youngsters read these stories. Therefore, I entreat (not demand) authors to be thoughtful in what they write, as pertains to the above. I can just hear the typical teenager, “Mom, Kezzabear says it’s OK to get drunk.” Now I know that is silly thinking but of course teenagers are full of silly thinking(I have two).
So, if I have inadvertently offended anyone, I apologize. If you disagree with my intentions, that is, of course, your prerogative. For that I make no defense.
Kezz, I especially apologize to you if I have offended you in anyway, and GoingBacktoSquareOne, you as well. When I read your comment it stung a bit and I believe my reply(to my shame) was a bit snippy.
greywolf is going into his lair to lick his wounds. I think it best I refrain from comments in the future as apparently I lack communication skills necessary to make my intentions clear. I wind up making people angry and upset and that is not my goal.

OK, why is Ginny flushing? Poor Neville, being used as the benchmark for a last resort. It was so funny when you had Ginny pull Victoire off Harry. Maybe I am just catching on but it seems when Ginny is being dense you write from Harry's viewpoint and when Harry is being dense you write from Ginny's viewpoint. Maybe dense isn't the right word... maybe clueless??
Author's Response: At the moment - honestly, they are both dense all the time. I'm merely alternating viewpoints it's just that they are so clueless so often ... If they paid more attention to their own body language ...

Author's Response: The reason it's similar to The Pact by accusatrix is because we were writing from the same prompt. She's read the story - they were written about the same time frame - neither are plagiarised. At this point in time Harry and Ginny are - if my calculations off the top of my head are correct ... 20 and 21 I believe. Ron and Hermione are 22. Oh I nearly got in hot water from aggiebell for dissing Neville, but she recognised he needed to be sacrificed to the plot ... ;)

Alright Neville, get a move on. Doesn't some minor (but kind, beautiful and loyal) character need a date for a Ministry event of some sort from which they could immediately decide to elope right quick?
ahh the delicious torture of reading a WIP. I never did that before I started reading RL. argh. Now I'm a 'check back to see if it's validated yet' geek, rather than just a ff-reader-geek.

Every chapter is getting funnier than the one before! This story is just pure fun to read. (the generous purse in RL is still my all time favorite though!)
