Good start. The premise of Harry and Ginny coming back in time and raise the younger Harry was some idea I had for rather odd time travel story that has a few timelines in it that I don't know if I will ever get around to writing it. There is one think that you may want to take into a count in this story. Harry was, to put it mildly, deprived other kids took for granted. If he came back in time to give his younger self a better childhood, I think he may be tempted to spoil his younger self (possibly not even be aware of it himself) and may need help from others to remember not to spoil his younger self rotten. Its one thing I had to consider when forming the plot for the odd time travel story I may or may not write. Anyways, keep up the good work!

I love time-travel stories. Especially those with a unique take on things. I think this one qualifies. I am eager to see how things go from here.

Nice start. Probably a good idea with Hagrid. I can't see Dumbledore no trying harder to have his way. I truly believe that Dumbledore thinks that only his opinion is right or valid. Great beginning, looking forward to more.

Awesome! I love time-travel stories and yours is fantastic so far! I love the beginning. Usually they have them travel back to first year or fourth year (which is one that I'm working on) but I like yours where they go back all the way to the beginning. Very nice! I'm looking forward to more. :)

Interesting & quite well-written so far. Creative use of wand-lore, it would seem. :-}
Seems that there could be many opportunities for significant confusion, especially if the family in which Harry is an infant became acquainted with a certain magical family that lives near Ottery St. Catchpole (and I'm not referring to the Lovegoods).
Oh -- speaking of complications: you indicate (unless I got pretty confused, which happens from time to time) that Ginny is sufficiently gravid as to show. I wonder how long she has before she's delivered of their (first?) child....
Should be an interesting ride. :-)
