You gave me warm fuzzies! I like that you didn't try to make Harry loquacious or suave. Thanks for a great read!

Author's Response: Aw, glad I gave you the warm fuzzies! And thank you. In my mind, Harry's still a little bit of the boy who uttered 'wangoballwime?' to Cho Chang when it comes to his feelings for Ginny. Luckily, she gets that and meets him in the middle most times :)

You need to put up the link for this picture! Wonderful story, fluffy, sweet and well written. Good Job!

Author's Response: Thank you! And yes, I wanted to put the link in the story info, but apparently we're not allowed to put it as part of the story on the site, but the picture is here and is just so lovely :)

Author's Response: Okay, that link's not working for me-no idea what happened there. The picture is here: http://community.livejournal.com/corkart /3028.html#cutid1 And if that still doesn't copy and paste right, it's over at Absolutely Corking's LJ art community: corkart

Very cute, although I suspect that Ginny would have waited until harry actually asked before saying yes. Could you post the link to the picture that inspired this fic? Thanks.

Author's Response: Quite possibly, though when I was writing it, I just imagined her as being overeager to say yes and reassure the nervous Harry. But I could certainly see her waiting til he got it all out to answer too :) And the picture is here :)

This is such a sweet story! You've captured Harry's nervousness and distraction perfectly. I really like the little flashback of Harry trying to keep Ron occupied long enough to find Mr Weasley.

I give your story two thumbs up for making me smile and remember the night my husband proposed.

Author's Response: Aww thank you! Glad I could bring back memories of such a sweet moment for you :) I actually wrote this story shortly after getting married myself!

Very good tale, however, it could have been a little more exciting if you had actually had Harry talk that walk and proposed to Ginny, then come back to celebrate with the family.

Author's Response: That would have been sweet as well, I agree. But the picture that inspired it was one of Harry proposing in the middle of the Weasley kitchen and I thought it would be amusing to write something to go along with it, because I could see Harry trying to propose and totally getting tripped up by all the Weasleys in the midst of it. I also thought it would be sweet to have them there :)

All proposals are nerve-wracking, aren't they?

Author's Response: Oh gosh, yes, I would think so! I know my poor husband was nervous as all get-out and we'd already started talking about wedding and marriage plans so he KNEW the answer. But this one... poor Harry! lol.

I LOVE that picture and this story. I just wish there was more of it. Sigh. Great job!

Author's Response: Thank you! and it really is one of my favorite Harry/Ginny pictures ever. And obviously it inspired me :) And you mentioning more has got me thinking about a possible wedding sequel. I've always wanted to write something revolving around their wedding day. I'll start feeding that plot bunny :)
