Great job depicting some of the challenges facing those who have suffered a severe physical trauma.

Author's Response: I have a friend who helped me with this chapter. She gave me some really good ideas which made it easy to write this chapter. Our talks about Harry's challenges helped me to understand what she goes through on a daily basis. Harry needs to learn how to cope with his challenges and right now, his attitude isn't making that an easy task. Thanks for reading.

Poor Ron, it must be awful for him and all of the team and I can understand why Brodie wants to be free if the constraints of the auror department to catch these despicable criminals. It does sound as if some evidence is beginning to trickle through. I never mentioned the "mentor" last chapter but she is obviously a woman scorned but to go this far for revenge is extreme. I like healer stilwell, and I wonder just how much he is to blame for this or is she just completely disturbed? Her asssiciate is obviously very disturbed...

Hopefully Harry feels that he is at least found something with the pt exercises...

Author's Response: Many of my readers have commented on how mature and responsible Ron is in this chapter. It's been fun writing Ron in a mature demeanor because he's the type of person who is willing to try to help his team members through the example of his own life experiences. As much as I'd like to, I won't tell you the Matron's motivation for why she's doing the things she's doing, although I can agree with you that she is truly a nut case in every sense of the word. As for Harry, it's going to take a lot of time and patience for him to work through his anger and really begin to find the positive in both his life and his PT. Thanks for reading and commenting.

Great ! I love Ron's line "......AGAIN ?" ....more lives than a cat". I laughed really hard. Thanks.

Author's Response: I'm so glad you picked up on Ron's comment. And found it humorous. I thought of it when I was driving home one nightm and had to pull over and text it to myself before I forgot it. Thanks for reviewing.

Oh dear. You've made it so realistic that a fictional story or not, I feel so sorry for pretty much everyone. I loved Harry's inner dialogue about rolling over to the mats, because while I know it's an awful situation and he understandably loathes it, that small voice sounds a lot like the Harry we all know. I hope he'll keep listening to it.

Author's Response: Harry's inner debates as an adult are definitely an aspect of his character that he would have as an adult. I think we all do that to some extent, but the conversations he has with himself are things one doesn't forget about him. You'll just have to see whether he heeds that inner voice or ignores it if future chapters. Hopefully, things will be looking up for our favorite characters in the next few chapters. Thanks for the review.

Another excellent chapter! I'm glad Harry is starting the hard work of dealing with his disabilites. The visit from the children should help him. Why hasn't Ron been to see him? That would probably help Harry a lot.

Author's Response: Ron is up to his eyeballs with the investigation. He's had to make some tough choices such as devoting the majority of his time to the investigation verses taking the time off from his job to properly visit Harry the way he thinks he should. He's decided that the right thing to do is find and prosecute the perpetrators so they won't hurt anyone else. Harry himself has a long way to go before he's completely ready both physically and mentally to rejoin the world outside The Groves. I hope you'll stick with Harry and the story to the end. Thanks for the review.

This whole story is not much fun, but it is a great must read story.

Author's Response: I think your attitude towards my story just about sums it all up. I'm glad you think my story is worth reading.

Another great chapter! Maybe if Harry gets to see the kids he will get over his self pity and be more willing to put more effort into his recovery. Hopefully Ron will also be able to make a dent in being closer to solving this before more lives are at risk.

Author's Response: What an optimist you are! The friend who is letting me pick her brain for this story tells me there are two sorts of critically ill patients: ones who are determined from the start to do everything to get better and ones who become depressed and angry at their situation and have to work through those emotions first before the mental healing can begin. Unfortunately, Harry falls in this second category, so it may take a while before his attitude changes. As for Ron, he's doing his best to fill Harry's shoes at the Auror Office and has had to make some tough decisions of his own concerning how he spends his time. Stick with the story... you just might get your wishes. Thanks for reviewing.

I don't understand why u are trying to project Harry as Crippled. Simply don't understand. When Moody could walk after loosing his Leg and One eye, one of his leg was Glass and one eye is magical. So why is Harry been projected as Crippled is beyond me and this is a magical Story not a Muggle one, where if a person looses his leg would be using a Wheel chair for it for goodness sake its a magical world and u are writing abt Wizards not Muggles.
Moody lost his leg after been cursed if u remember and also he did loose an eye. So why Harry is Crippled is beyond me.
Anyway its your story and they are your characters thus its upto u how u wanna project them.

Author's Response: Yes, it is my story. Why shouldn't I portray Harry in a real life situation? You point out that Mad-Eye has lost a leg and an eye. Harry still has his legs, he's just lost his ability to walk and because of his head injury, Healer Stilwell has said he can't do magic until his body is ready for it. All of the other characters can and do use magic according to Wizarding law. You also point out that I'm writing about wizards: when Harry's body is ready to do magic, he will know it. In the meantime, he is learning the basics of life as a disabled person which means learning what to do if he falls out of his chair, be it floating or wheeled. My story will continue the same way it always has. You can choose whether or not you want to continue reading it. Thanks for letting me know what you think. I appreciate you writing to me.

This is such an excellent chapter. It is very realistic. I love the way you brought out the real patient in all those who are suffering. Great work!

Author's Response: I'm so glad you liked the chapter. You're right, of course, that not just the injured person is the patient, but the rest of his/her family as well suffer just as much as the victim. Thanks for your insight into my story.
