Glad the aurors are making progress in their search for Scorpius. He did so well getting out a patronus message. Hopefully they will be able to rescue him soon. I am rather looking forward to his reunion with Rose, and to Ron's reaction.
Author's Response: You won't be disappointed with either Scorpius' rescue by the Aurors or with his reunion with Rose. He's a very brave lad who is lucky enough to be surrounded by friends after he returns to Hogwarts. In the meantime, his successful casting of the Patronus Charm has helped the Aurors immensely and will help Ron's team with apprehending their prime suspect. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Wahey...progress at last, but they're going to have to approach very carefully...
I know Scorpius must have felt aboslutely gutted when he realised he couldn't get away, but he did so well and has got the information, as much as he knew, where it needed to get to. Obviously at this point he wont know that, or that the aurors have worked out where the cave is so I hope he doesn't get too disheartened. Amazing to get the corpeal patronus down pat:)
Author's Response: Because of how hard his life has been due to how reclusive his parents are, Scorpius has learned to deal with difficult situations with a backbone his father never had at age fourteen. Also, even though he has two loving parents, coming to Hogwarts meant making friends for the first time in his life, which gives him a wealth of really happy memories that he can use to produce a corporeal Patronus. So yes, while he's extremely disapointed that he didn't escape outright, he does have some satisfaction that his Patronus possibly took the information to those who would know what to do with it. I agree... a bit of progress has been made.

I'm glad they found him, I'm also glad they didn't find him on the first try. Interesting glimpse into the Auror's world.
Author's Response: To tell the truth, I'm glad they found Scorpius, too! I think that if they'd had to search another round of castles, Ron would have really begun to worry, though. As for the Aurors' world, it's a mixture of pictures I have in my head as well as the number of TV detective shows I watch! Thanks for reading and writing to me.

Yay for Scorpius. He's been very intelligent and resourceful. Nice to see that he was able to pull up a Patronus too. Fun seeing them work on figuring out where he was.
Author's Response: It sounds like you have enjoyed this chapter. As for Scorpius, I don't think the teachers would be willing to teach anyone who was too dim-witted to learn (well, maybe Crabbe and Goyle, but they were essential to JKR's plot because of their roles as Draco's henchmen). Draco told Harry that he knows his son is intelligent and resourceful and had mastered all the defence lessons he'd been given, which, apparently included the Patronus. Scorpius had the desire to let someone know where he was: that's why he was able to call up his Patronus. By the way, I had fun researching the castles. I'm glad you enjoyed that part of the Aurors' search. Thanks for reading. See you next Thursday...

Getting closer!!!!! I just really want to know who the Matron is. There is probably so many clues I should already know but I just don't.....
Author's Response: You're right, there have been clues dropped in many chapters and in the chapter entitled "Meetings" the Matron's name is revealed by Healer Stilwell. He also tells Ron why he thinks she's after him. And yes, we are getting closer to the conclusion of this tale. I hope you'll stick with the story until the end. Thanks for reading.
