The birthday prank worked perfectly...even if it lifted Albus' spirits briefly it was worth it.

I once went for cognitive behaviour therapy for depression (just 3 or 4 sessions) but the woman was fantastic and I'll never forget that almost eureka moment when I realised that no one else was setting the high expectation I had but me...and also dwelling on your successes not your perceived failure. It's something I live by to this day, and although I still have blips it was help I couldn't have done without. I hope Ginny gets as much from her therapy as me:)
Author's Response: Albus knows his siblings understand that he's feeling sad and appreciates the efforts they went to to help him be a bit happier. I like to think that the after-effects of their prank lasted the entire day for him because the entire school will talk about what happened until everyone crawls into their beds. I don't talk much about Ginny's therapy until the epilogue where she talks about how she's feeling, but suffice it to say that yes, the sessions helped her immensely, just like they did you. Thanks for sharing that with me.

Author's Response: Scorpius could have been held for much longer. In my story Summer Story, Harry and Dumbledore are imprisoned for nearly three months because their cell is so far underground and so heavily bewitched that there was no way for them to escape if they wanted to. By the way, if you follow the timeline for the last chapter and this one, you'll see that all of this action takes place between midnight and one in the afternoon on Albus' birthday. What a prank! I am sure the Marauders and the twins were proud. Loved , the choice of songs for the different houses. And that it all made Albus a little happier on his birthday. Liked the part at the end with Ginny finally getting some much needed peace. Now let's go get Scorpius! Great job, well written! Is it really going to be over soon? I will miss getting up every Thursday knowing a new chapter is up :)

I sincerely appreciate you staying with my story and writing to me each week. I'm so glad you enjoyed the pranks. I love a variety music when Rosina Ferguson suggested the Tuning Forks prank I knew it was the prank for me. Choosing those songs was one of the highlights of writing the chapter and yes, the entire experience made Albus happier. Also, you, like many of my readers, seem satisfied that Ginny is finally finding the peace that has eluded her for so long. And just so you know, the next two chapters are centered around the rescue of Scorpius by the Aurors. Thanks for reading.

Author's Response: The pranks were fun to write and I'm grateful to the two readers who suggested them. If you look carefully at the timelines for the last two chapters they're taking place in the space of about twelve hours, starting with James hexing Albus just after midnight and ending with Ginny going to see Mr Hale at one o'clock. In the next chapter, you'll get a sort of "meanwhile, back at the castle" sort of back tracking as we find out what happens with the Aurors while the Potter siblings were having their fun. So yeah, now that the Aurors know where Scorpius is being held, they can set up their traps and get down to the business of rescuing Scorpius. As the Wicked Witch of the West would say, "All in good time..." Thanks for writing to me.
