Glad Harry knows who he is again. The relationship between Harry and Ginny is complicated to say the least. He needs to be quickly honest with his muggle girlfriend.

Good chapter. The "regaining memories" scene was well written as well as Ginny and Harry's true "reunion". I like that despite her overflowing emotions, you've kept Ginny on guard. I feel like she really really wants to believe he's truly back, but the past four years have jaded her terribly. It's realistic.

I'm curious to see how Harry will handle his "merged" lives now. He can say he wants to be with Ginny all he wants, but Sam being in London changes a lot. I do hope you don't just have him dump her outright. Though she doesn't know about the Wizarding world, so...going to be interesting.

And all this time I'm wondering who is going to wind up on the wrong end of the combined Weasely family's wands :)

That was a good chapter. I'm glad Harry has got his memories back. Also, I'm glad that Ginny stayed with him the whole time. I hope they can overcome the distance that this whole mess has made to their relationship.
Sam must be feeling a bit vulnerable at the moment to have followed Harry over to London. I hope when she finds out that Harry has his memories back and wants his wife and family back, as well, she can accept it and move on. I hope she finds someone more suited to her.
Loved this update and am looking forward to the next one.

Don't your eyes have to be open and you looking directly into someone else's in order for Legilimency to work? That's how Snape did it in OotP, so I'm rather skeptical of the method Miranda used to enter Harry's mind. I'm not refuting that once inside it worked, just the method of entry. Also, a calming draught would have kept him awake long enough for Miranda to find what she needed and when she was satisfied she'd uncorked all of Harry's memories, then she could administer the sleeping draught to help him heal a little.

That concern covered, I'm very glad Ginny was with Harry because I don't think he would have tried the Legilimency otherwise: he's a brave man, but after living as a Muggle and with his history of hospital anxiety, there's a limit to what he would be willing to go through without someone there to calm and support him. That she stayed so close showed that Ginny still loves Harry despite his having abandoned her and James.

Finally, if I could wring Sam's neck, I would. She's certainly a "trusting" girlfriend, especially since she felt the need to follow Harry across the ocean before he was ready to go back himself. I'm still having problems with Harry's phone working in such a magic-saturated environment, but maybe Harry's magic is sufficiently powerful enough to keep it running properly...

Nevertheless, I enjoyed the chapter and eagerly await the next installment.

Hurrah! Harry has his memories back! It sounds like there are still some tough times ahead for him, dealing with his "girlfriend" and trying to rebuild his life with Ginny and James, but at least he can start now. I can't want to read what happens next.

Legilimency as a memory retrieval technique? I don't think I've seen that one before.

Harry has his mrmories back. Yeah! And yet, look at how much more Harry has to go through before he truly has his life back. He has to deal with Sam, rebuild his relationships with Ginny, James, everyone else... then there's his wand to find, a psychopath to find... Harry's going to need at least 4 more years to get all that done!

Big step forward and a happy ending is in sight. But let Sam meet someone mice. Hope you like your job.

Author's Response: finally, right? lol. I agree about Sam-- I don't think of her as the enemy. Thanks! I do! But I already miss being a student, partly because I have much less time for writing and editing.

Well nice to see that his mind is back to a point but something tells me it's going to take a long time for the wounds to heal....as for Sam well she is about to get what she does not want but then again in person it's better that way.....kutgw

Author's Response: I like to work for my happy endings :P I very much agree with you. Hopefully the version of their breakup that I decided on was the right one. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!

Another great chapter and so worth the wait. Can't wait to see how Harry now puts his life back together since it will be a long road to travel. Definitely looking forward to see how you bring Ginny and Harry back together. Keep up the great work!
