A very different perspective than I have of Ginny. She's very young in many ways. Nice to see Molly there to give her advice and encourage her to think about things and grow up. A very introspective chapter in a lot of ways.
Author's Response: Somewhere in the rough draft is a scene where Ginny sort of recreates her childhood dreams of playing for the Harpies, coming home to nurse a baby, going out with Harry to help him take down some dark wizards, and back home again. Totally unrealistic, of course. Meanwhile she is face to face with Teddy keeping her pretty tied down; being a full time mother of a very tiny infant is not so easy.
I’m glad you liked the introspective part. I am trying to write Molly as a fantastic Mother, and a pretty good judge of how to deal with all the different personalities of her children and their spouses.

I have just managed to catch up and read your story. It is interesting and has a good story line.
About the only thing I have to say, negatively, is that your Ginny seems to be a bit insecure. Having to use the charm to try to keep Harry interested seems like desperation. Apart from this one point, the story is good.
Author's Response: Sure, Ginny’s insecure, and jealous. Note the scene in DH in the room of requirements when Cho offers to take Harry to the Ravenclaw dorm. Besides all these witches are writing to him. I think every author has a ‘head canon,’ things beyond what is written. I know in my head those letters are really getting to Ginny, the ones with photographs especially. My Ginny is cute but she doesn’t have a spectacular shape, so a photograph of an extraordinarily well endowed witch offering sex, no strings attached, would make her both mad and insecure. Ginny will make sure Harry will never see any of the letters or pictures, not that he really wants to.
The Touch-of-Lust spell is in my mind a family spell or curse that goes back 400 years, through the female line. McGonagall can trace it through the witches who left Hogwarts pregnant, including Molly. Once she is married Ginny will not use it until, well, that’s part of the story.
Then you have Lilly Luna, and her oldest daughter, and the Touch-of-Lust spell. Lots of story left to write.
