I've enjoyed this story so far. Looking forward to the next update.

Author's Response: The next update is up, and I have my beta readers looking at the one after that. I hope we can get to an update every two to three weeks until this story is finished, and then maybe keep the same schedule for the next one. Thank you for the review. Jet LaBarge

An very interesting and thought provoking chapter.
I am glad the Romanian government didn't modify Harry's memory after the incident in the duelling room. He had every right to have those memories.

Fleur really is the big sister that Ginny needs. Her story is sad and I am glad she has a wonderful husband in Bill. I am glad that Ginny listened to her and saw the healers.

Harry's speech at the end of the classes was very true to how he is. To kill someone would kill a bit of yourself as well. I truly believe this.

Just one mistake I found in your story.
After the duel with the Avada Kedavra curses, the students leave the room with their memories modified, Harry says; "Oh too bad someone just tried to kill you" Harry yelled, "Don't you date try to modify my memories." This should read- " Don't you dare try to modify my memories."

Looking forward to the next chapter.

Author's Response: First, thank you for the correction. I changed the spelling on all three sites I post to. It will take a little while for it to show up on this site, though. Fleur the perfect is not as interesting a character as Fleur who had her struggles. I picture her as having a rather idyllic childhood and successful career at Beauxbatons until, after the events in Goblet if Fire, she is raped. Of course a rape like that would change your life, and in some ways your whole life, in retrospect, is divided into before you were violated and after. Authors have to do nasty things to their characters to make the story interesting, and to make a point. I post my story chronologically, and am really reluctant to change things once they are posted. I feel like I’ve spent way too much time getting this far. But I have some things written far ahead. Fleur does eventually get her revenge, totally ruining the son who raped her and his father, forcing them to live for the rest of their lives as penniless slaves. I want those who are less feeling to think that maybe Fleur has her victory. Then I have the following lines. As they were leaving a still grim Fleur said to Ginny, “Revenge is a bitter dish, Ginny. I hope you never have to serve it.” Fleur turned to Ginny and hugged her, tears starting to fall. “It was NOT worth the humiliation, the pain, of the RAPE. It’s just better than nothing. Sons … of … Bitches!” I do think that Fleur may be able to be more of a big sister to Ginny than some of the other Weasley wives. In some ways Hermione is not very motherly/sisterly, at least not until she has children. Angelina has her hands full with George and her children. I portray Audrey as warming to the Weasley family rather slowly. But after she is married and has children Fleur will become fully a Weasley. I’ve responded to Harry’s speech about killing in a previous review. My father was a fighter pilot in WWII, and probably did not get promoted because he saw no glory in killing an enemy. Jet

I must be honest and say this is not my favourite story. On the other hand, it is one I dare not miss a new chapter.

Author's Response: My first Beta Mrs_Granger of the HPFF site said that when people object to what you write at least you have their attention. Much better than not getting a review. Besides I would much rather read something Northumbrian wrote than anything I write. I’m not the best author on this or any site, although I am trying to get better. There is a very long story struggling to get out, however. Thank you for reading. Jet

This is my first review of your excellent story.. Laura Dupont, that name sounds familiar. Wouldn't Laura also have heard of Flure, if not known her? Too bad she was raped, and nothing was done to the rapest except a slap on the wrist. It does seem, sadly that it happened. Ginny is going to have to get used to Harry being away. The phones help. Harry is right about the feeling about killing someone. The other students should listen to him, but probably some won't. Me thinks that is about all for now.awaiting the next chapter.

Author's Response: I stole the name Laura DuPont from Mrs_Granger from the Harry Potter Fan Fiction site. She was my first Beta, and although she is way too busy to write and has moved on from Harry Potter Fan Fiction, she and I are still occasionally in touch. If you haven’t read her stories you should. I still think they are some of the best I have read. I am working on a little bit in the story, in the third book of a planned four book series before Albus goes to Hogwarts, where Fleur gets her revenge. Revenge is, I am told, a dish best served cold. Unfortunately I feel this type of justice, if you can call it that, is rare. Notice two other points. When she was raped Fleur’s boyfriend abandon her, a horribly unfair and all too common side effect, and Bill knew and his loved is helping heal her. My father was a fighter pilot in WWII. He was offered the chance to encourage student pilots by telling them about the glory of killing the enemy. He refused. I think he and Harry are a lot alike in that they hate war and killing. “You are just two scared young men trying to survive,” he said to me. “There’s no glory in it.” When Ginny joins the Harpies Harry is going to have to get used to Ginny being away. After 45 years of marriage, four children and seven grandchildren, I don’t have many illusions that marriage is always easy. Worth it, but not easy. Jet LaBarge
