Nice concept. This is one of the best time travel fics I've seen. It's cool to think that the younger Harry and Ginny got together afterwards. I wonder what happened to the older ones, though.

An interesting idea for the Time Turner challenge. Now that I have finished reading your story I'm not quite sure if I should be happy or sad? Very different and thought provoking.

I think this is a great idea. In implementation it comes across as a bit of a whirlwind, and I think you're missing out on great opportunities for poignancy. You could easily spin a sizable enough tale just focusing on the Harry/Harry and Ginny/Ginny relationships. I can see some long discussions that start to lead to the painful conclusion that one of each pair must eventually die; that would not take the sting out of the final sequence, but it would make good thought-provoking prose and would help readers understand what was happening. Anyway, well done!
Author's Response: Much of what I want to say in this reply is the same for the previous review. I tried older younger scenes but it bogs this story down a bit as its too short. But if this was much longer then those scenes would have added a lot of weight to the ending. Thank you for the review!

Wonderful! It's a plot sketch, obviously, as you would need much more than 20,000 words to fully explore a tale this complex, but as plot sketches go, it's exceptional!
Author's Response: There is so much that could be done with this. Initially I did try to write some older with younger scenes, but it kills the pace of a short story like this. Even the short bit in the tower drags a bit. I'm glad you liked this story! Thank you.

I'm sorry I really got lost at the end. I loved the beginning and having them accidentally travel in time was an interesting idea, but once the battle began I couldn't really follow what happened. The one quibble I have is if 13 year old Ron and Hermione really fought a Death Eater they'd have been killed within seconds. They simply didn't know enough to face a hardened Death Eater.
Author's Response: Hi. Granted the battle might be a little confusing. About Ron and Hermione fighting the death eater. Harry says that that the death eater was laughing more than fighting. So yes they would have been killed if the fight was serious. Thank you for the review.

As with all time-travel stories, it's best to avoid thinking too hard upon the rules for time-travel, and focus instead on enjoying the story and plotline. That being said, I enjoyed the story. Glad you're writing again.

Very nicely written and enjoyable but I confess I became confused in different places, especially at the end. I may have to read it again! Anyway, I'll rate it 8 on this first read but it might be worth a 9 if it's my fault I didn't grasp every detail. :)
