Wouldn't it be nice for her to move in with Harry so he can keep an eye on her? :)) I am surprised about Hermione, you would think she would all for professional woman and support Ginny, but no, she has to side with Ron!
I think you said in chapter one that she started playing in her second year, but chapter two says year 3?

Author's Response: Thank you for pointing out my continuity issue. I've changed it and will address it in my author's note in the next chapter. I have a bit more about Hermione in the next chapter that kind of explains her point of view. I've never really imagined Hermione in favor of a career in sports, but I agree I think she would have been all for a professional woman. I think of it more as a combination of its Quidditch and broke Neville's heart - she is closer to Neville than Ginny so would be more supportive of him.

Looking forward to more of the story, but then I could say that about anyone of yours that's not completed and it wouldn't be a lie *grins* .

I admit I was a little confused as to why the England team were always called the National Team, but that's a small gripe.

Author's Response: I think Harry and Ginny are just cute together. In this universe, Ron is not a big fan of Ginny's.

Really enjoyed these two chapters. I can easily imagine Ron getting angry at Ginny for rejecting Neville and just discounting her dating life altogether. You seem to suggest Molly also agrees with Ron for the most part, but I'd be interested in seeing Hermione's opinion; she is a bit more level-headed and I can't imagine she would agree that a woman should be a housewife right out of school. Plus, she might understand stalking a bit more, although I know you're not keen on Hermione in your other stories.

I think there's a bit of weirdness in the couple's mutual attraction considering the nature of the investigation, although it seems both characters acknowledged it to themselves.

I'm assuming it's a known character and not someone original, since that would eliminate the fun in guessing. At this early point, my 3 suspects are Malfoy, Zacharias Smith, and Cormac McLaggen.

Author's Response: Thank you! While Hermione isn't keen on women being barefoot and pregnant I always imagined she wouldn't consider Quidditch a good career. In this universe, Hermione never really got to know Ginny all that well so she would tend to side with Neville. The mutual attraction is a bit intense, but they can't really act on their attraction with the nature of the investigation. I hope you like my solution.

Excellent! I love the interactions between Harry and Ginny! Nothing seems forced, and I can easily see them both acting like this in an alternate universe. I do so love a well done AU. Very much looking forward to subsequent chapters!

The only part with which I've found issue was a slight continuity problem with Ginny's position on the Gryffindor team. In chapter one, she became Seeker in her second year, but she makes reference to only two games (presumably later in her education) as Seeker in chapter two.

Author's Response: Thank you so much. I always imagined it they met older than they would have an almost instant attraction. I did fix the continuity issue, thanks for pointing it out.

I like this calm, self assured Harry you are writing, and the fact that there is already an attraction between he and Ginny, without the inability to interact in an intelegent way. This idea of Harry trying out for the National Quidditch team to protect Ginny and track down her Stalker is cool. I've read post-Hogwarts stories where Harry is an Auror and where he is a Quidditch player, but never both. Really looking forward to reading more!

Author's Response: Thank you! I imagined Harry and Ginny would be attracted to each other if they met later. Glad you are liking the set up - I just thought Harry should have a bit of fun as well as hunting down the bad guys :)

Excellent as always. Just when I think I've heard this story a dozen other times, you give it an interesting twist. At this point, I'm almost convinced it's Neville! Looking forward to the next chapter.

I love stories where Harry didn't go to Hogwarts - so yay!!!! I love this so far and I can't wait for more. I love how Harry and Ginny have hit it off so quickly and seem so comfortable with each other. I'm glad Harry gave Ron and Neville what they deserved. Should I feel worried about Ginny's stray cat?
