Title: CH 3 To The Dorms
Very disappointing how little has changed in Slytherin house at Hogwarts since the war. It also seems really odd that Minerva would select such awful prefects for Slytherin house. As the Headmistress, surely she could have picked others. A prefect named Tom Riddle. I am shuddering. Having said that I think this story has great potential. Albus is a wonderful character and Cleo is unique, almost in a Luna sort of way, which I love.
Author's Response: I may be totally non-canon, but in this story Minerva does not pick the Slytherin Prefects. The heads of the houses have the major role in picking the prefects. I am sure that in the case of the other three houses Minerva has her say, but Slytherin has been out of her control. Why, and how to change it, is of course part of the story. Changing Slytherin is only part of the challenges Albus will face, but it is a major one.
Albus, for all his talents, I try to write as given to understatement. He would be quite content to work behind the scenes, although he will not be allowed to. Cleo is, as you are only beginning to see, very different. I have read, or started, a few sappy soulmate stories, mostly about Harry and Ginny. This being soulmates is not going to be all sappy lovey dovey stuff.
Cleo has been fun to write. I hope you continue to enjoy her.
Thank you again.

Yes Al is a cut of a differnent cloth that is for sure...kutgw
Author's Response: Al may be the closest child to Harry, but he is not the same as his father. Some of it is his experiences, but his basic personality is different as well.
Thank you for your faithful reviews.
