Author's Response: I try to read and respond to all reviews. Some of the best reviews ask good questions or have valid criticisms.
You have not seen the last reference to Winnie-the-Pooh, or maybe I should say Winnie THER Pooh, because Christopher Robin, in explaining the name, asks "Don't you know what "ther" means.
Maybe I should introduce a female character named Winnie?

love the interaction between Hagrid and Cleo. She is the first to tell him that his cakes are uneatable and offer to teach him how to cook. Albus and Cleo are already relying on each other so much to have just met. Cleo just tells Al that this is job to explain.
Scorpius and Rose are much their parents children and yet now.
I really have enjoyed all of your 19 year stories.
Author's Response: Cleo is an unusual person. I am sure she thought she was doing Hagrid a favor by teaching him how to cook, and she almost certainly is.
Cleo has a great more faith in Albus than Albus does at the moment, and his attempts to figure out what Cleo is seeing and thinking are going to continue. I have an idea how she looks at the world, as the author, of course.
Rose is her mother's daughter up to a point, but you will see some major differences. Scorpius desperately wants to be good, but I am sure he inherited some of his competitiveness from his father and grandfather.
I am very grateful for everybody who plowed through all four of my 19 year stories. I hope I can make the Albus stories as good or better.

The letters sound very formal, If Albus signed "Albus" then I am sure Harry would know he was his son. "Your Father" has got to be Harry Potter (I hope) - Then again, even my wife calls me "Dad" to everyone else in the family. Plenty character development, but how about a bit of action (Trolls, three headed dogs etc.)? Look forward to the next chapter, which you get up at a very satisfying rate.
Author's Response: There will be more action, including a Quidditch game, coming up soon. Probably not as much as some people want.
Albus tries to make his letters more or less formal depending on what he is writing about.
All sorts of strange things happen in book two. My granddaughter wants to draw a dragon for a book cover, so I may have to put a dragon in here somewhere.

Author's Response: All four of the main characters are good, caring people. Some other characters are not. I hope to develop a few villains, and maybe some people you are not sure of, in the next chapters.
I hope I can move the book forward fast enough.

Great chapter. I really enjoyed the part about Cleo teaching Hagrid how to make scones. The reference to Tigger and trying to get Cleo to be calmer and quieter when talking to people was very clever. I am curious to see how having his father's wand may impact Scorpius over time. Looking forward to reading your next chapter.
Author's Response: I think it is going to be easier for Cleopatra to calm down than for Tigger, but that leaves a huge amount of room for her to lose it from time to time. She is rather irrepressible at times.
Somebody had to do something about Hargid's uneatable scones.
I have to think more about that wand. Was it purchased for Draco, or does it go back further? What dark secrets lurk in the Malfoy family history?
