Well congratulations you managed to keep my interest during that Earth Science lecture. You definitely did a lot better than my teacher did considering I always fell asleep in that class.

Then again you had the advantage of having such an interesting tale. I can start connecting the dots though. You talk about time passing by and Harry getting used to the place and with time forgetting about his troubles. Then you talk about wards and protections and the possibility of some DE from the past knowing that precise location and attempting to break in and failing due to it's protections.

Finally, you finish off with a lecture about these mysterious stones and how they can aid in traveling similar to how a portkey works.

I feel like you are telling us something here. Should we expect an attack soon? :P

I am having fun though. I have to admit I am hoping Ginny and Harry start working towards their relationship soon. Perhaps I should take Melchior's lesson to heart and have patience. I am still a bit lost on what will happen next. If Harry is in hiding then what does that mean for Voldemort? Will he still be able to use the boy to come back to his own body?

Will he be forced to use another wizard? Somehow despite the differences from canon I have a feeling that specific part will remain the same.

Author's Response: Hey, one of the most important things in teaching is keeping your students interested. Shame on your earth science teacher! Seeing as Harry and Ginny are 12 and 13 at the moment, I don't see them developing a good relationship yet. But never say never! When the time is right, even when the hour is the darkest and you feel lost, there will always be love and warmth, hiding in the most unwelcome places. About your last point... ehehe.

I also found the geology content enjoyable, although my 9th grade year geology class was referred to as Earth science *ahem*....*AHEM*.

Interesting picture painted in regard to rune lore. The description you have given seems plausible in the context of the story.

Globe denying wizards and lessons on rocks, curious.

Author's Response: Thank you for the review! Ah, gotta love geology/earth science. Globe denying wizards? Calling dibs on that, that's a great band name!

It is so far a truly mysterious story. The more I read, the more mysterious it becomes.

What are the real goals of Melchior? Why does he teach Ginny and Harry how to burgle? Melchior isn't an art collector, isn't he? What's Ginny's role in the game? Not that I'm complaining, I'm glad that she's involved in the story. But I still can't see her role in the trio. Is she Harry's sister, adopted by the Weasleys after James and Lily died? Or is she Sirius's goddaughter? There must be a connection because she's voluntary with Harry and Sirius. Hmm, I hope we'll know soon.

And Harry being a Slytherin... I think it is the proof that the Sorting hat isn't inerrant, lol. I haven't seen any Slytherin traits in Harry, at least until now.

Thanks for sharing this mysterious and sometimes funny story.

Author's Response: Thank you very much for the review! As I said to another reviewer here, I really appreciate that you describe your thoughts here so clearly! One of the reasons I'm publishing this story is because I want to improve my writing qualities, so reviews like these are very helpful. Thanks! The matter of how Ginny and Harry became so close will receive more attention further in the story, don't you worry!

It seems that Ginny is a bit more friendly to Selene now. Apparently she has realized that Selene isn't a threat for .. let's say her heart's desire.
This rock is an interesting means of transportation. I'm really curious in which ways it'll be helpfull later on.
As always you left me pondering which parts of this chapter will become important for the further story line.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review! Apart from where this is going, I hope you'll enjoy the ride there too!

Nice little history and geology lesson connected with the rock. Melchior is consistently full of surprises. Looking forward to reading your next chapter.

Author's Response: Thank you very much for your review! Believe me, the Melchior is not nearly done with the surprises.
