Wow! Great to see you back. I'd thought this one has been abandoned, and that would really be too bad! I don't feel an ounce of sympathy for the Malfoys, and I'd prefer if Nagini had eaten Draco, too. I have to re-read this story to remember, but was there a newspaper article whom we didn't know who wrote it? I wonder if that could be Tracy Davis?
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I have been working on this off and on. (Mostly off, to be honest.) The plot has been in the back of my mind during a busy year. I can understand the dislike of Draco. I hated him through book 5 and somehow become mildly intrigued during books 6 and 7 when he became a more faceted character and became a reluctant fan with Cursed Child. I am realizing how rare that is for a H/G fan. Most people on this site loathe him. :) And Tracey Davis wishes she wrote that article instead of Rita. Now Rita. She’s one of the rare HP characters I truly hate, along with Umbridge, Lucius, and Uncle Vernon.

Happy to see a new chapter on this, MM! You weren't kidding about it being dark - pitch black I'd say! Dorko certainly had to deal with a lot of garbage going on at Hogwarts while the Carrows were there - somewhat impressed with how he handled it! I can see how he'd be a valuable asset in Harry's investigation! While a Slytherin would seem to be a likely suspect in what happened to Romilda I'm still not completely sold on that! Hope the next one is soon as I really like this story! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I don’t know how much garbage Draco has to deal with this year. Circumstance wise, he’s better off than classmates in the 3 other houses. He’s unlikely to be tortured anyhow. I kind of view all of his drama as internal this year as he tries to decide what kind of man he will be, especially now that his father has fallen off his pedestal.
