I have rediscovered this story and have spent the last two nights binge-reading it from start to finish. I love your characterizations of all the characters because the ring true to who they are in canon and what the events of the last few books has done to their personalities and circumstances. While I never liked Romilda Vane or the fact that she tried to make Harry like her through the love potion-lace chocolates, I don't think she deserves to have died until all the clues to her murder have been presented in the story. I have enjoyed your versions of Rita Skeeter's "poison pen" articles since you've captured the essence of her writing style. Finally, I really like how you're developing the Draco/Astoria romance. Of all the characters we love to hate in the books, I think circumstances have molded Draco more than any other character: you are doing a marvelous job of showing these changes and how he is trying to work out how to use them to forge his future. These first days with Astoria seem to be a good influence on him.

I hope you will update soon. If not, I'll probably come back to reread the story in six months or so to find the little subtleties I've missed in this first read-through. Well done.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I have been trying very hard to keep the characters as close to canon, as possible. With Draco, Cursed Child left me very curious about how the Draco of the series became the Draco of CC, and I thought that Astoria must have been responsible for bringing out the best in Draco and for a lot of Scorpius's character traits. (And Scorpius is definitely my favorite in CC.)

You seem to have done a great research and that’s something I appreciate. I enjoyed your description of Astoria’s background. Very well done!

Well i think what we are seeing is the growing romance but friendship of these two and more important the life moving forward shortly on....kutgw

Author's Response: Yes. I think Draco and Astoria are very much friends first. In fact, I think Astoria might very well be Draco’s first real friend, which is what he’s wanted most his entire life (aside from world domination). Thanks for reading and reviewing!

I really like Astoria and the way she looks at the world. I'm fascinated by her "Seeing" ability, whatever it is. Rita is still trying to cause trouble for Harry. he really needs to expose her. She's a nuisance! I'll never warm up to Malfoy, but I have to give you your props for making me read - and enjoy - such a long chapter about him!

Author's Response: Well, that is a very nice compliment! Thank you!

Just when I thought I'd seen it all, Draco Malfoy does a puppet show! That would seem about as likely as Ron Weasley ordering a diet plate in an all you can eat buffet! Really enjoyed the interaction between Draco and Astoria - she certainly is different from what you might expect - and so seems Draco! Sad about her health situation but maybe Draco's skills could help her! That drawing of Romilda certainly raises questions! Can't wait to see what happens next! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Author's Response: It’s amazing what a Malfoy will do to restore his good name! Although I am not sure if Draco would have been able to go through with it had Astoria not been there. The hypochondria is strong with that one! Thanks for reading and reviewing!
